Bottega Veneta Knot ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 18 July 2014 13 Comments

Bottega Veneta Knot

Bottega Veneta will launch Knot, the brand's third fragrance, in August. Knot is named for the Bottega Veneta knot clutch.

Knot is described as a 'breezy floral' and was developed by perfumer Daniela Andrier. The notes include clementine accord (mandarin, limette, neroli and orange flower), lavender, rose, peony, musk and tonka bean.

Bottega Veneta Knot will be available in 30, 50 and 75 ml Eau de Parfum.

Update: the full description from Neiman Marcus  ~ "Bottega Veneta Knot is an aromatic floral bouquet that brings a unique olfactive experience evoking the essence of the Italian coastline. A bright, floral fragrance meticulously layered with sparkling citrus notes and opulent woods to offer a luxurious and bold statement. The fragrance's name is an homage to Bottega Veneta's beloved Knot clutch."

Additional notes include cedar. The 50 ml is $125, and the 75 ml is $160; there are also matching body products.

Breezy=musky/dryer sheet floral, no? Will sniff it, though never got around to sniffing BV Legere. Knot sure if I like the name:).

Yeah, that’s my worry too. But want to try it, BV has done a good job so far.

Glancing at the comments made, this sounds like something I should try. Heard a lot about the Bottega Veneta line. It is officially on my list.

This is going on my must-try list. I love both BV and, even more, BV Eau Legere. And Daniela Andrier will always have a special place in my heart as the nose behind Infusion d’Iris, so needless to say I have high hopes for this one! Bottle is gorgeous.

Oh my goodness, the bottle is absolutely beautiful!!!!

I really like, the original Bottega Veneta. Though, I do not own or wear it, because it does not mix well with my skin. Knot sounds like it will be a boring, unoffensive perfume. Being that it is from Bottega Veneta, it should be well-made.
