I didn’t know this “Premiere” was to be pronounced in English. I’ve always read it “prem ee eh.” Why the accent then?
They pronounced it the same in the original video, for the EdP. I don’t know why…but many English dictionaries list the accent mark as optional in English. At any rate, it’s meant to reflect Hollywood glamour and the advertising obviously is using an American actress, so makes sense to me they wouldn’t give a French pronunciation even if they used the mark.
Maybe just because it looks fancier?
