Heeley Vetiver Veritas ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 22 May 2014 12 Comments

Heeley Vetiver Veritas

Niche line Heeley will launch Vetiver Veritas, the first fragrance in a new collection of 100% natural perfumes. The last launch from the brand was 2013's Coccobello.

Vetiver Veritas is reportedly 90% Haitian vetiver. The other notes include lavender, peppermint and grapefruit.

Heeley Vetiver Veritas will be available in 50 ml Eau de Parfum, €135. Look for it in June.

I will try it in any case, I love a good vetiver…but can’t see paying so much when there are so many excellent vetivers on the market.

Especially when & Virtues Vetiver of Haiti is $70 for the same size…

I will give them the benefit of the doubt and assume this is a higher quality vetiver, but still, can’t afford it.

Sounds lovely but I can’t justify the price. Plus I just got myself a bottle of the Guerlain, which I adore!

I was so excited at first, since I keep looking for a less expensive vetyver which will satisfy my craving for Mono Di Orio’s. That price, if my rough calculations is correct, is even more expensive.

I like this line but I’ll hold out for the next Turtle Vetiver. Will it be Side? Left? Top? 😉

I love the name, and the notes and quality sound wonderful, but at that price I’m tempted to recreate this from my essential oils!
