Liked the first one:). The second one, it seemed like she was applying body spray or hairspray during a few squirts..gotta love that hair though!
The hair is amazing.
Should get my vintage (60s) L’Aimant out… it’s really nice stuff.
I’m with Omega – first one was nice, second was rather silly.
I think Angie’s going to review it next week.
Oh my goodness, another reminder of my late teens! I remember a small plastic bottle with an applicator – & being complimented on how nice I smelled by a nurse who was treating me for an arm injury – mind you, she worked in the Accident & Emergency department so I’m sure she would have seen many less fragrant people on any given shift!
Really, a plastic bottle? That’s funny…at one time it was such a high end fragrance.
Robin, I think here in the UK Coty were seen in much the same way as Yardley, ‘respectable’ rather than ‘high end’, something your mother, grandmother or great aunt would use! I just liked the smell of L’Aimant & it was affordable
for me at the time, & different to the fragrances my friends were using which were the trendy ones aimed at the younger market (aside from my Tabu wearing friend I mentioned recently in another article!). It was a small black plastic bottle with a fancy gold cap to which the applicator was attached.
Oh, I think they were the same here by the 80s! Just meant it does seem funny…if Guerlain Shalimar was now sold in a plastic bottle, for instance.
