We've heard a lot lately about the bursting of the tech bubble, but scientists at Bristol University believe their bubble technology could have a profitable future. Their system for producing bubbles onto which images can be projected and which release a scent when burst will be unveiled at a major conference on human-computer interfaces this weekend.

In other words, businesses can use these “charming” bubbles to pollute the public street. One man’s sweet smell of spicy sausage is another vegan’s smell of carnage.
Maybe these kinds of bubbles would have uses at things like weddings (assuming none of the guests as allergies), or as true home fragrances, but I am not buying the notion that anyone should be allowed to scent the public airways.
I’m afraid the public space scenting battle is one you’ve already lost, but yes, not dying to smell sausage scented bubbles 🙂
I have to agree with Robin. The mall public areas surrounding A&F just about kill me. And I also do not want to smell sausage scented bubbles.
A&F are the worst, but noticing it in more stores all the time.
