Unsound music festival has commissioned perfumes inspired by experimental electronic music. The German perfumer Geza Schoen will create three fragrances based on compositions by Montreal sound artist and musician Tim Hecker, London-based Kode9 and Australian-born, Iceland-based composer Ben Frost.
— The scents will be introduced at Unsound New York later this month, and will be available commercially later this year. Read more at Unsound music festival commissions club-inspired fragrances at The Guardian.
Interesting, I would have listen to more but I get mostly instrumental ambient and dubstep from these bands. Not a fan of dubstep/kode9, that I know so far.
Very cool that the fumes are inspired from music though, nonetheless.
I like Geza Schoen, too — would be cool to smell these.
