Ramon Monegal Very Private ~ new perfume

Posted by Robin on 18 March 2014 4 Comments

Ramón Monegal Very Private

Spanish niche line Ramón Monegal has launched Very Private, a new fragrance exclusive to Bergdorf Goodman in New York City. Other recent launches from the brand include Dubai Next to Me.

Ramon Monegal Very Private. Created exclusively for us, Very Private captures the perfumer's hypnotic and magical impression of Bergdorf Goodman and Central Park in springtime.

Sophisticated and refined, this elegant, long-lasting eau de parfum opens with sparkling citrus and fruity notes, coupled with a tender floral bouquet of tea rose, violet, lilac and orange blossom, and dries down to a unique blend of oak moss, licorice, vanilla and musk.

Ramón Monegal Very Private is available at Bergdorf Goodman, $270 for 50 ml Eau de Parfum.

I don’t like the choice in names for RM scents lately..Very Private..sounds almost like it’s referring to private parts..or something, lol..just me? Plus, I just don’t like the name, just so blah.

The notes do sound good..but not a fan of his use of musk generally..hopefully, it’s not too musky. I do want to check this one out though.

Maybe BG picked the name? Who knows.

        Perhaps, didn’t think of that.

And I know it’s probably for a ‘very private’ walk in the park’…it’s just that perfume ads and such are so sexualized..that’s where my mind goes first with names like these, lol. Maybe if it were a VS scent..Very Private Sexy Bombshell..ugh.
