Bath & Body Works Mad About You

Bath & Body Works has launched Mad About You, a new addition to their Signature Collection. Other recent fragrances from the brand include Velvet Sugar and Forever Red Vanilla Rum.

Fall madly in love with our newest fragrance! Mad About You captures the rush of falling truly, madly, deeply in love. This passionate scent is a thrilling blend of black currant and pink peony kissed with creamy vanilla musk.

Additional notes include strawberry, cassis, ginger lily, jasmine, amber wood and white patchouli.

Bath & Body Works Mad About You is available in 50 ml Eau de Toilette or 236 ml Fragrance Mist; it is also available in matching bath & body products.

Can’t tell what it will smell like, but the bottle looks really cute.

It does! They are definitely trying to up their game when it comes to packaging lately.

I’ve been a fan of certain B&BW fragrances, but I haven’t been impressed by anything I’ve smelled there recently. And I love the packaging on this, too, but I doubt the smell will be anything I find compelling. (Then again, I said that about Dark Kiss, which I would put on a par with Hanae Mori Butterfly, before I smelled it. I might even prefer DK… too bad it’s gone now too.)

They have switched gears so many times in the past 8 years it’s hard to keep track. For a bit, they were trying to do less sweet / more grown up fragrances, but they seem to have gone back to sweet and worked on the packaging instead.

It looks like it should smell like licorice all-sorts.

Now that would be awesome. I would probably be all over that.
