Indie line Kerosene has launched Black Vines, a new spicy fragrance focused on licorice. Other recent launches from the brand include Pretty Machine.
There is nothing cold about this scent. It's a warm touch on the shoulder, as you are entangled in green vines of black licorice. The spices and gentle sweetness will warm your surroundings. This is climate change for your skin.
The notes feature ivy, fig, star anise, cinnamon, Canadian fir, Peru balsam, tonka bean, incense and vanilla.
Kerosene Black Vines is available now at MiN New York, $140 for 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

Yummy. I wish he’d produce smaller bottles.
Yes, much smaller!
Yum! This sounds good!
It does — a green & black licorice sounds perfect.
I love Kerosene fragrances. I love licorice. This one is a must try.
I’ve only tried Pretty Machine, but that’s a great scent…
yum, I need to try this line and this scent. I like licorice but have yet to want to get an fb of anything I have sniffed so far. Lolita Lempicka..while nice…just is a bit flat-or something-for me.
I have tried some others besides Lolita..but didn’t get too interested in any. I do wanna try that 1000 Flowers one or whatever that line is from Canada.
Ah yes, the Reglisse Noire. They had a sale in December and now I have 15 ml. Nice if very masculine.
I don’t find Reglisse Noire masculine at all….maybe that’s just me. It’s glorious stuff.
Sounds like another candidate for splitting if one is ok with an unsniffed largish (10 mL) decant purchase!
I am greatly anticipating the arrival of Black Vines….I could be convinced to split. 🙂
