Hummer Black ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 12 November 2013 7 Comments

Hummer Black

Hummer launched Hummer Black, a new fragrance for men, earlier this year:

The story that began with HUMMER and HUMMER H2 continues with HUMMER BLACK. HUMMER BLACK rounds out the trio of HUMMER fragrances based on the luxury of the ultra masculine vehicles of the same name. It is both woody and aromatic with lush, seductive top notes of green apple, cypress and violet leaves.

Additional notes include tobacco, orris, lotus flower, white musk, Chinese incense and woods.

Hummer Black is available in 75 and 125 ml Eau de Toilette.

Looking at that bottle, all I can imagine is being run over by the odor of burning rubber tires. Or a military tank. This bottle makes me want to run out of the store the second I see it.

I find actual Hummers just as aggressively ugly as this bottle, so at least their brand aesthetics are consistent!

I’m going to steal a line from Sports Illustrated and say that this is yet another sign that the Apocalypse is upon us.

The bottle looks like a butane heater/lighter/campstove monstrosity. I have a visceral reaction to the vehicle and to the perfume bottle :-0
