Demeter has launched the Nigel Barker Signature Collection, comprising three fragrances inspired by Barker's photography: Times Square, New York Nights and Wall Street.
Nigel Barker is internationally renowned as a fashion photographer, as a judge on "America's Next Top Model", and now as the host of "The Face". Nigel draws all these threads together for the launch of the Nigel Barker Signature Collection of Fine Fragrances by Demeter Fragrance Library.
These three extraordinary scents are inspired by Nigel's photography, capturing the energy and infinite possibilities NYC represents. Created with Demeter’s unique approach to fragrance, which is grounded in the wonderful scents surrounding us every day, the first three fragrances from the Nigel Barker Signature Collection are drawn from different aspects of one of the great cities of the world.
Times Square ~ "Using Tuberose, Neroli and Ylang-Ylang intertwined with lush, earthy notes of Patchouli and Vetiver, this fragrance is bursting with energy, but layered with depth and subtlety, capturing the quintessential strength and diversity that Times Square represents."
New York Nights ~ "Sexy Ylang-Ylang and Red Poppies, earthy and spicy Tobacco Leaves, sweet and sensuous Black Vanilla Bean, all offset with powdery Coca Petals, a touch of Cool Frost, and the clean finish of Vetiver. The endless possibilities of a New York night in scent."
Wall Street ~ "...the masculine entry in the initial Collection, with a unique blend of Vanilla Bean, Black Peppercorns, Herbs and Oakmoss highlighted by intense Patchouli, and subtle citrus nuances. This is what Money should smell like."
Demeter + Nigel Barker Signature Collection Times Square, New York Nights and Wall Street are available in 30 ml Eau de Toilette, $25 each.

None of those descriptions really grab me, though I am a bit burned out… But the bottles are beautiful 🙂
They look really nicely done. Would be more enticing if I’d heard of him, but I haven’t!
I haven’t watched Top Model in years, but I have fond memories of NIgel. He always seemed to be in good taste, so I want to believe that these will smell good.
It is good to have faith 🙂
They all actually sound quite nice and, I guess, knowing that they come from Demeter makes me want to try them more. That Time Square one is a reach, though, even if it is referencing the new Disney-fied version. Tuberose? Neroli and Ylang Ylang? Maybe if there’s a Bath & Body Works nearby. 😛
And I’m sure there is…I think a Lush too 🙂
