Xerjoff Oud Stars Zanzibar ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 23 October 2013 5 Comments

Xerjoff Oud Stars Zanzibar

Italian niche line Xerjoff has launched Zanzibar, a new* addition to the Oud Stars collection:

Zanzibar is an enigma like a mirage in a desert. Sweet and herbal notes play anchor to rich wood notes providing an initial tease to the mind. Soon, an intriguing blend of Osmanthus, Cedar and Patchouli lays ground for the mid notes creating a blend that is both daring and unusual.

Xerjoff Oud Stars Zanzibar is $310 for 50 ml, and can be found now at Luckyscent.

* Update: see comment below; looks like this is almost certainly a new name for, or a new version of, Najaf.

I believe that this is a renaming of their Oud Star release that was originally called Najaf, rather than an actual new release.

I noticed that after I saw the first comment that was posted here. I mean after all it can be, I believe most likely it is.
