Anthropologie Eaude Citrine, Lilas, Paeony & Verte ~ new fragrances

Posted by Robin on 27 September 2013 11 Comments

Anthropologie Eaude Citrine, Lilas, Paeony & Verte

Eaude is a new "sleek and modern" collection of four fragrances coming to Anthropologie in early October. Citrine, Lilas, Paeony & Verte were "inspired by modern art and color".

Citrine ~ "a fruity floral and cream bouquet" featuring peach, raspberry, mandarin blossom, jasmine, rose and vanilla.

Lilas ~ "a light sensual amber with dark fruit overtones" with notes of amber, cooked plum and musk.

Paeony ~ "a sparkling, lightly spiced floral" with freesia, jasmine and spiced musk.

Verte ~ "a fresh citron-green blend" featuring bergamot, carrot, magnolia and fresh mint.

Anthropologie Eaude Citrine, Lilas, Paeony & Verte will be $28 each for 50 ml, concentration unknown.

Eeek, I am lemming ALL the bottles and I don’t care what the perfumes smell like although they don’t sound half bad. Using perfumath, $28 is the new “if it is under $25, it’s free”; therefore, since each bottle is “free”, I am getting all 4 for free! Forgive me, Donatella, for I have sinned….

Hey, I think anything under $100 is now free. $28 means they are paying YOU to remove it from the score.

(sorry to correct your math, but this is important)

LOL, I like your math – it is mentally less painful :-)

The new Boucheron bottle looks exceptionally staid next to these!

Oh, not too sure…you’re going to have to tear that label, I think (?) Then it might not be so pretty.

Oh, I see now…didn’t realize those twirls were tags! Guess wishful thinking made them into rolls of glass, lol.

Well, I’m not 100% sure what they are either.

Looking at that list of fragrances, I can predict what will come out next year… Oud and Noir, I think all the other bases have been touched! The marketing for these really has the feel of “flavors,” and not in a good way. They look cheap (and I guess they are!) An inexpensive bottle I really like is Lou Lou… so I don’t think a flask has to be cut crystal to be fragrance-worthy.

      Eaude Oud, yep, possible!

I wonder if those perfumes feature notes they are named after.
