French niche line SoOud has launched Fatena, a new fragrance for women:
SoOud launches Fatena, a perfume that recounts the mysteriously seductive aroma of the women of the Orient.
Pagan goddesses with blazing eyes who, though almost totally veiled, exude a mischievous, personal, intense and absolutely irresistible charm.
The notes feature pink pepper, frankincense, ginger, saffron, peach, caramel, muguet, jasmine, patchouli, woods, benzoin, nagarmotha, labdanum, Peru balsam, musk, oud, leather and vanilla.
SoOud Fatena is available now at First in Fragrance in Germany, in 60 ml Eau Fine (above left) or 30 ml Parfum Nectar (above right).

This sounds rich and intense, and interesting enough that I’m tempted to try! The only note I don’t think I’ve tried is nagarmotha,,,
Also known as cypriol, and although it is not exactly the same as papyrus, in perfumery I’m guessing it’s the same thing.
Ah, thank you, Robin.
