Byblos Fusion

Italian fashion brand Byblos has launched Fusion, a new fragrance for men. The tag line: "Strong. Sensual. The essence of a man."

Fusion was developed by perfumer Fabrice Pellegrin. Notes for the spicy woody aromatic include bergamot, orange, litchi, black pepper, rosemary, musk, patchouli, sandalwood and oud.

Byblos Fusion is available in 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

Releases from Byblos are so haphazard and badly distributed…. I had hope 5 or 6 years ago, while visiting San Francisco all the major dept. Stores had those lovely pebble bottles for the Byblos women’s frag, and they did different color flankers, and hen it died with the financial crisis.
And even though this bottle with the metal insert probably costs a lot to make, to me it comes out as cheap looking.

In the 90s when Byblos was “hot” (not as hot a Tom Ford’s Gucci, but sexy-hot nonetheless) they had spashes-eau he toilettes called mare, terra, etc. That were “cool” … nice smelling and they had the quirkiness of the brand’s mystique.

Sorry for the long rant on branding and image, but I’m always somehow still waiting for Byblos to come out with a winner… you kniw a best seller…. I’m naive I guess.. but it doesnt cost much to dream, no?

Honestly P, I don’t even know who they are other than “Italian fashion brand”. Didn’t even know they were ever hot.

It is hard to tell from the picture, but the notes are listed on the metal, just like a Prada scent…so figured they were a lower end brand copying Prada?

They were “a little bit hot” for fashionistas in the late 90s… imagine Bebe but with class.. hehehehehe

It reminded me of Prada too.. but I thought “looks like a cheap Jeans brand from any mall” you know the typography, etc.

        Cheers!
I’ll let you know if I sample it.
