Fendi will launch L’Acquarossa, a new fragrance for women, in September. L'Acquarossa is a tribute to Rome, and is aimed at an older consumer than 2010's Fan di Fendi.
L'Acquarossa was developed by perfumers Delphine Lebeau and Benoist Lapouza; notes include mandarin, bergamot, prune, lantana flowers, rose, orange blossom, magnolia, red cedar, musk and patchouli.
Fendi L'Acquarossa will be available in 30, 50 and 100 75 ml Eau de Parfum.

Update: see a review of Fendi L'Acquarossa.
Lovely bottle, but that red just reminded of of the long gone Fendi Asja.
It is pretty — sorry about the Asja!
Me, too! I have my own precious bottles of Asja that I ration but it makes me so depressed the new “modern” direction that Fendi has taken with its fragrance line. To go from the original Fendi masterpiece of the ’80s to the atrocity that is Fan di Fendi…well, let’s just say it leaves zero hope in me for L’Aquarossa.
Prune? Hmmmmm? I’m officially curious. LOVE the bottle! So far, I have not liked a single Fendi fragrance. Still wanna try the green Fan Di they recently put out. : )
I loved Theorema, but it’s long gone and haven’t liked any of the modern scents. Maybe this will be the one 🙂
Aimed at the older consumer?? By older I hope they mean 23! Can’t wait to test it!
It’s pretty rare that they mean much older than that 🙂
Lol:).
Then again, I may be too old to wear it, haha.
Lovely bottle, I’ll sniff it.
I like the sound of these notes…and I certainly like the idea of a tribute to Rome!
Stunning bottle!
Aimed at an older consumer??? That is so RARE (but welcome) these days!
Well — older than Fan di Fendi. That could still be 21, right?
I like that bottle. Prune always strikes me as a funny note, I’m surprised they don’t go the “macerated plum” route or something.
THAT BOTTLE IS KICK ASS! 😀 LOVING THE NOTES TOO! Lantana Flower is Such a Nice scent and The Prune… WHOOHOO!!!
I personally LOVED Pallazzo By Fendi (Gone WAY Too Soon) and I am a HUGE Fan of Fan Di Fendi… so Fendi hasn’t really let me down EXCEPT with the reverentially Worshiped Theorema… I NEVER Understood the Love thrown at that scent… always smelled like a Hot Damn Mess to me!
I also fell head over heels in love with Palazzo and still have the bottle in the box with a drop left in it.
This bottle looks beatiful buth I think the fragrance to me will not be a winner. When it arrives in my local perfumery I will give it a try.
Love Asja and Theorema. This sounds promising. And I love the look of that bottle.
Aimed at the older consumer …and contains prune notes. Is Fendi trying to tell us something?
I thought the exact same thing! Can’t decide if this entices or repels me to try the fragrance. Or does the connotation of prunes simply date us outrageously?
I don’t hear anyone about Palazzo which was my favourite!! I still have the almost empty bottle to sniff on now and then.
Fabulous bottle.
I love the discontinued Fendi frags but not the new list, which leaves me cold. This one sounds promising, however. Prune is famously one of the notes in Femme Rochas.
So …. the consumer should be old enough to have digestion issues that are solved by prunes … LOL
“Sun-dried plums” would have sounded so much better.
Will defo give it a sniff although after the Fan di Fendi disappointment my hopes aren’t too high.
