I had never noticed the cool-ish Madly bottle before. Just scanned your scathing review of Madly, and I figured I could skip this one anyway, but as always, I enjoy at least looking at Kenzo’s packaging.
And I have no idea what “Kiss ‘n Fly” is supposed to mean, but maybe it’s something the darn kids nowadays would understand…
Agree about the packaging. The bottle design is from that UFO scent, and I really like it.
And yeah…kiss ‘n fly, no idea what that might entail.
At SFO (San Francisco Airport) ‘Kiss and Fly’ is the drop off for passengers at the curb… but perhaps it is a reference to the butterflies in the original marketing? Personally, I prefer, ‘park and help me with my luggage’… 🙂
Yup..Oakland Fresca nailed it. I first noticed the Kiss and Fly zones at airports while traveling in France…why Kenzo thought that’d translate into a fragrances is anyone’s guess.
Ah, I’m sure you’re right – thanks!
Nothing about this appeals to me.
I did not love the original, but will try this if I see it.
The bottle does. Think they’d let me buy just the empty bottle?
It seem so fitting that a perfume named “Kiss ‘n Fly” would have a pear note…
Is it travel exclusive? Seems like the perfect name for a scent that can only be found at duty free.
I don’t think so.
The bottle calls to mind the “Poiuyt”, an impossible geometric figure once featured in MAD magazine, as well as M.C. Escher’s impossible architectural and geometric drawings.
Weird name.
