Damn CdG, slow down. I love this fragrance house and i cant keep up. Still need to try Amazingreen, Black, and some of the play series.

I know what you mean. On the other hand, been a long time since I’ve smelled a real winner from CdG so I am staying hopeful (have a sample of Black that I am going to try to smell this week).

I agree with both of you!
I need to try most of their recent stuff from the last 2 or 3 years!!

But it will be interesting what comes out of CdG’s interpretation of “Blue”!

I loved Miyake’s eau Bleue for example. Looking forward to trying these!

Robin would you say your passion for new perfumes has dwindled? You seem exhausted and unimpressed with a lot of new releases, and often mention you’ve yet to try a lot of them as well. Not taking a dig or anything, just curious if you’ve found your desire to discover new and unique releases has dwindled with time.

I think yes, I’m very jaded, but also true that I’m still just as excited when I find something great! Just doesn’t happen all that often. But yes, it has damped down my interest in trying every new line, that is for sure.

And while I do totally admit I’m jaded, I also firmly believe there is more & more dreck out there all the time. No way that could not be true with the number of new releases, IMHO.

Cranking them out. The perfume machine goes round and round…

I am still very smitten with Black Play. Haven’t even tried the new Black yet. Blue? Could be interesting, but I won’t be racing to get my hands on these.

I like Black Play too. I think part of the reason I didn’t open (regular) Black right away is because I think it’s weird they have nearly the same name & similar notes.

These sound more interesting to me than Wonderwood, the Play series and Amazing-green…

These bottles are hideous. I’ve never had a problem with any of their bottles before.
Blue Encens sounds like something I’d love and the others sound like they’ll be worth a try, but something about this release rubs me the wrong way. It seems to me like a half-hearted attempt at a series and like “blue” was added just to make it kookier, since that’s what we expect from CdG. I do plan on trying them eventually, though.

Does anyone know if these scents will be permanent or not? I can’t wait to try these out! I was wondering which color would be CdG’s next fragrance motif.

I’m sorry but I don’t know. I would think so though.

I love the new CdG Black, and these look like they could be interesting, especially the incense and cedrat. Will definitely seek them out to sniff.
