Bunch o’ limited edition collector bottles 2013, part 9

Posted by Robin on 7 May 2013 12 Comments

More limited edition collector fragrance bottles, with the usual disclaimers: in most of these cases, the juice is unchanged, just the bottle is “special” (or not, as the case may be), and some of these may not be available in the US.

Lalique Satine

From Lalique, Satine in a numbered and signed limited edition 40 ml Extrait de Parfum. (via lalique)

Scented necklace from Le Metier de Beaute

From Le Metier de Beaute, a scented necklace in silver and gold with carnelian stones, scented in gardenia, orchid or amber. There is no explanation for the scenting process, but guessing it's the same as they used for these cufflinks. $4500 at Neiman Marcus.

Tom Binns for Lisa Hoffman, cuff bracelets

From Lisa Hoffman, cuff bracelets by designer Tom Binns, available in a variety of metal finishes and filled with scented beads in any of the brand's fragrances. $300. Also available in pendants ($250, see below) and earrings ($200, not shown). All from the Lisa Hoffman webstore.

 Victoria's Secret Bombshell limited edition

From Victoria's Secret, a limited edition bottle of Bombshell Eau de Parfum (there is a similar design for Sexy Little Things Tease as well). $49 at Victoria's Secret.

I love the Lalique bottle (as always) although it looks a lot like my old bottle of L’Heure Bleue.

It’s pretty, but far from my favorite Lalique, even of their recent bottles. Cap seems weirdly small & out of proportion to me.

You know, that was my first thought, a little too small. A larger maybe flat oval would be pretty. The strange jewelry looks poorly designed, just a thing with holes in it?

Good, then I’m not crazy. Not loving the jewelry either — she has older pieces that I like much better.

These look kind of 80s – in that brazen metallic way. The bracelets would go well with LOTS of hairspray, huge shoulder-pads, and loads of blue ‘n green eyeshadow!

            Disco, anyone?

Merlin, I am dismayed to report that one of the dresses I tried on this weekend had shoulder pads. . .

Merlin,- blue eye shadow is back too, and even blue mascara.

The cuff bracelets look like a balled-up wad of metallic Band-Aids, IMHO.

LOL! I do like the earrings & pendants better.

Ms. Hoffman has some less expensive fragranced jewelry at HSN (http://www.hsn.com/shop/lisa-hoffman-beauty-jewelry/j-8999).
