Annick Goutal Les Colognes ~ new fragrances

Posted by Robin on 20 March 2013 12 Comments

Annick Goutal Les Colognes

Annick Goutal is introducing a new collection, Les Colognes, consisting of three existing fragrances in new packaging: Eau d'Hadrien, Vétiver and Néroli. The scents will be available in 200 ml or in a limited edition coffret of all three in 50 ml; look for them to launch in May.

To my understanding, these are not the old fragrances in new packaging, but new interpretations of them.

I assume they must be since they are in lighter concentrations.

I guess I misunderstood your phrasing to mean that they’re launching existing fragrances just in new packaging and naming it a collection, sorry!

Well, to my mind, they are existing fragrances even if they’ve messed with them! And so far, have not seen any press materials that discuss in any detail how they’ve been changed.

And should have said — will certainly update this if/when I do.

Goutal was my first foray into niche back in the early 90’s. While I don’t think they’re considered niche any longer, I’ll always harbor a fondness for the line, even if they’ve tinkered with my beloved Eau d’Hadrien! I’d happily sniff this trio!

I’m wondering if the old version of Vetiver will now be gone? That would be too bad.

I like the bottle. For some reason their usual packaging has always looked a bit stuffy to me.

So interesting — I completely prefer the old bottles, & dearly hope this isn’t the new standard packaging.

Even lighter Eau d’Hadrien? No can do.

Just read at Fragrantica that they’re rebottling them all into these new bottles and that the glass color will be different for feminine, masculine etc

      Figures. I hate them.
