Disney Jasmine Collection A Whole New World

Disney has launched A Whole New World, a new limited edition fragrance joining the Disney Jasmine Collection at Sephora:

Enchanting as magic itself, this alluring blend of exotic flowers and rich, warm woods is fit for a diamond in the rough. Empowering and seductive, this tempting fragrance will allow you to be the master of your own destiny. So go ahead, make your own magic.

The notes feature carnation, orange blossom, mandarin, gardenia, mimosa, musk, cedar, sandalwood, vanilla, amber and benzoin.

Disney Jasmine Collection A Whole New World is available in 50 ml Eau de Parfum ($58), or in a 6 ml Rollerball ($19).

The reviews on Sephora are hilarious. It seems everyone used the the “whole new world” pun, for this being an oriental perfume.

What I find interesting, is it seems Disney went in the opposite direction, from the pervious Cinderella line. It is not surprising, that the Jasmine line features exotic colors…. just that one would think they would go with a “safer” princess, again.

And they all love it! Although by & large, most perfume reviews at Sephora are positive.

Very true…. though, the “storybook” eyeshadow palette looks beautiful.

Why is it I’m not surprised to see that there’s no jasmine listed in the notes?

Yeah, I know, the bottle is just tacky IRL, but in that photo it really is quite magical…

I did not love the Cinderella one in person, so not surprised.

Sorry, I meant I know the bottle WILL BE tacky IRL –
I haven’t actually seen it. Or if I did, I didn’t notice it!
