Clean First Blush ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 27 February 2013 5 Comments

Clean First Blush

Clean Perfume has launched First Blush, a new fragrance inspired by a summer morning.

CLEAN First Blush captures the cool, sparkling freshness of a new day. This citrus aromatic fragrance contains a light breeze of white sparkling tea, bergamot, and sweet mint that winds its way through neroli and basil. Woods and musk wrap the skin in the warmth of the summer sun.

First Blush was developed by perfumer Harry Frémont; additional notes include jasmine, amber woods and cashmere woods.

Clean First Blush is available in 60 ml Eau de Toilette.

To me the problem with Clean is price–there are actually a couple that I wouldn’t mind having around, maybe this one included, if they were priced low enough to qualify as a “cheap thrill”. It’s just hard to imagine pay $30/oz to smell like laundry.

(Well perhaps they don’t rise to the level of “thrill” but you know what I mean!)

I know exactly what you mean. They really ought to do smaller, cheaper sizes.

I agree. The Clean scents aren’t all terrible, but they are overpriced for what they are. This one sounds pretty, and I’ll sample when it hits Sephora, but can’t see spending FB bucks on it.

I’ll try it too…does sound like it might be nicer than their usual. I’m not a big fan of white musk, and most of them just smell like variations on white musk to me.
