Posted by Robin on 25 February 2013 4 Comments

Tommy Bahama for Him fragrance

Tommy Bahama will launch Tommy Bahama for Him, the vacation-oriented brand's latest fragrance for men.

Tommy Bahama for Him was developed by perfumer Ilias Ermenidis; notes include watermelon, tangerine, pear, ginger, tiare flower, violet leaf, coriander, amber, tonka bean and sandalwood.

Tommy Bahama for Him will be available in 50 and 100 ml Eau de Cologne and in matching grooming products.

Somehow the packaging looks more like a Women’s release to me. The notes could be construed pretty unisex as well.

Curious but have the suspicion I will not be impressed. Watermelon fragrances seem to get to me and violet leaf can also be grating sometimes.

I own TBM and SSSBfM, and these are great cheapie buys when they show up at TJMaxx/Ross/Marshalls, etc.

It’s supposed to recall a vintage cognac bottle, but agree, it looks feminine to me.

I don’t mind it. If it’s flip top, I like it better — I like flip tops.
