Custo Barcelona Glam Star

Spanish brand Custo Barcelona has launched Glam Star, a new fragrance for women inspired by New York glamor.

Glam Star was developed by perfumer Alberto Morillas; the notes feature mandarin, pear, bergamot, jasmine, strawberry, raspberry, blackcurrant, sandalwood, cedar, vanilla, patchouli and musk.

Custo Barcelona Glam Star is available in 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette.

Tacky? Not to sound like a snob…but sounds sweet and bottle is a bit tacky, name as well.

The bottle is so intensely ugly that I’m attracted to it.

I know what you mean. I can’t tear my eyes away even though it’s hideous. Glam Star – I feel like we’ve had that name before, even though we clearly have not – probably too many scents with Glam or Star in the name. They were bound to get together.

This brands clothing consists of large bold cartoonlike patterns in vibrant colors. They are the kind of thinks that you think are either brilliant and fun or tacky or loud, or brilliant AND Fun And Tacky AND LOUD,

So the list of notes and bottles match the brand’s aesthetic.

When I look at the bottle all I see is Egyptian mummy tomb scarab.
