Imagine a car interior which always smells new, or a plastic drinks bottle which replicates the smell of the juice inside. Imagine if you could choose the scent in each room of your house by using long-lasting, fragranced paints or wallpapers. It’s all possible.

Terrible idea. Olfactory muzak.
Wouldn’t want it in my house, but can see the attraction in some public toilets — and couldn’t be any worse than those little machines in some public restrooms that spew out fragrance every so often.
I don’t think I could take it – I would go insane from all that olfactory ‘noise’.
I couldn’t take it in my own house, that’s for sure.
Absolutely hideous! Just imagine never being able to get rid of the smell. I find it hard enough to stick even to my favourite perfumes for more than a few days at a time, but a permanent odour… ugh! It’s bad enough putting up with all the laundry musks emanting from other shoppers’ clothes – something like this would just tip me over the edge!
Some of these laundry musks are incredible…bought a couple of shirts off ebay, took me three or four washings just to get rid of the smell of their detergent. Ack.
Bonkers!
But could be worse 🙂
