Playboy Play It Pin Up ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 2 January 2013 9 Comments

Playboy Play It Pin Up

Playboy Fragrances will launch Play It Pin Up, a new fragrance for women inspired by the Playboy Bunnies of the 1960s. Play It Pin Up will reportedly be launched every year with a new "pin up" image.

The notes include bergamot, pineapple, peach, cotton candy, star jasmine, benzoin, patchouli, chocolate and sandalwood.

Playboy Play It Pin Up will be available in 30 and 50 ml Eau de Toilette.

If that bottle was at least cute I might buy it for kitsch factor. But even that ain’t happenin’. The photo (?) on the box isn’t even very pin-up-y.

It’s interesting — I did not even know that the word “pin up” could encompass 1960s Playboy Bunnies. I wonder if that terminology was really used then.

It was late morning before I realized I’d led off 2013 with Playboy Play It Pin Up. Sorry.

Boots has it in the UK, and I think Douglas in Germany.
