New fragrances from Candie’s

Posted by Robin on 8 October 2012 5 Comments

Candie's fragrances, 2012

Candie’s has launched seven new fragrances: an eponymous Candie’s signature scent, Luscious, and Candie’s Coated in five "flavors".

Candie's (shown above center) ~ a fruity floral. "A delightfully refreshing combination of lush florals and juicy fruits, this whimsical fragrance opens up with notes of pulpy mandarin, crisp apple and water lily. Its heart reveals blooming jasmine, pink muguet and ripe raspberry. A background of cedarwood, amber and soft musks makes for an irresistible sensation of warmth and comfort." Available in 10 ml Purse Spray, 60 ml Eau de Toilette or 150 ml Body Mist ($14.50-$39).

Luscious (shown above left) ~ a fruity gourmand. "This flirtatious, elixir opens with an explosion of juicy ruby red grapefruit, red currant and peach skin cascading into a romantic heart of pink osmanthus and wild rose nuances. A background of sensual amberwood fuses together with drizzles of vanilla sugar for a delectable treat." In 10 ml Purse Spray, 60 ml Eau de Toilette or 150 ml Body Mist ($14.50-$39).

Candie's Coated ~ for the "playful side of the Candie's girl", in Vanilla Bon-Bon, Strawberry Crème (shown above right), Sparkling Pear, Sugarplum Blossom and Cotton Candy. In 40 ml Eau de Toilette or 200 ml Body Mist ($14.50-$25).

Candie’s, Luscious and Candie’s Coated are exclusive to Kohl's.

Only seven? Why not an even dozen? Or a nice round hundred?

LOL! But I think this is all they have, if that helps — don’t think any of their older scents are still in production.

Yeah, I did sort of get the impression that they were doing a total reboot of the franchise (as the movie people say), as Fendi did a while back with Palazzo.

    They should be called “Cavities”.

It sounds like a seriously sweet collection.
