Jessica Simpson will launch Vintage Bloom, a new soft floral fragrance for women. Per Ms. Simpson,
I love the sweet allure of flowers in full bloom, sun-drenched afternoons and cosy evenings with someone I adore. To me, Vintage Bloom is all about my favourite things; it is easy, lovely, joyful and such a true connection to my heart.
Vintage Bloom was developed by perfumer Stephanie Hakes; the notes feature lemon, Caipirinha lime zest, raspberry blossom, peony, musk and sandalwood.
Jessica Simpson Vintage Bloom will be available in 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

To be honest, I’ve really liked a couple JS fragrances and this sounds nice for summer. I’d give it a sniff if I happen across it while out and about.
Ditto — I think they’ve done a reasonably good job with this line (hated the last one, liked most of the earlier ones even if they weren’t entirely my taste).
Honestly, the JS scents I have smelled make me sick to my stomach. Fancy just makes me gag really. Sorry but it does. There is something chemical on the top that just makes my stomach turn. Fancy Nights was pretty alright..I kinda liked it but again, it made me sick and I had to give away. I Fancy You wasn’t bad, reminded me of DKNY and Love and Luck. Love and Luck I absolutely love. JS scents are probably my least liked fumes. Her shoes rock though:).
We have opposite tastes…I Fancy You was the only one I disliked!
Clearly there’s an audience for this type of thing. According to Women’s Wear Daily, her clothing/shoe/accessories/fragrance empire is set to top 1 BILLION dollars in sales in 2012. No, that wasn’t a typo…that’s billion with a ‘b’! Astonishing.
I’m SO not the Jessica Simpson demographic, but I have to say that some of her shoes are pretty cute. When I’m shopping at TJ Maxx or Marshalls, I’ll often pick up a random shoe that’s caught my eye and find out that it’s from her label. They never fit me well, though.
Ick I’m excited! Haha! I don’t love the packaging at all but lemon and lime zest oh my! : )
It’s over the top girly — hope the fragrance isn’t also over the top girly!
I’ll just come right out and say it: I think the packaging is awful. But JS makes a ton of money with her line, so I assume she knows her demographic.
Interesting description of the fragrance from Ms. Simpson. Mainly interesting because this Texan employed British spellings twice: “cosy” and “favourite”. Perhaps that is just another true connection to her heart?
I noticed that, as well. Further, she refers to her fiancé as a “baller” instead of football player. Sounds like she is prepping to pop across the pond and live abroad for awhile! lol
Haven’t cared for the previous scents by Ms Simpson at all, but this one sounds pleasant, and I’ll try it when I see it. I’m not in her demographic target either, but I admit to owning a pair of her label’s boots! And her handbags are usually nice as well.
The bottles look like photo frames!
It reminded me of Nina by Nina Ricci. Exactly like it actually. I’m terrible but I want it! Haha! I find it to be FAR better than Fancy You, which I did not care for at all. Ick!
Good to know — I did not like FY either.
Nordstrom has all of her’s, except Nights, for pre-order on their site. Wow. Good for Jessica. : )
