Stella McCartney Stella Summer Rose ~ new perfume

Posted by Robin on 17 February 2012 9 Comments

Stella McCartney Stella Summer Rose

Stella McCartney will launch Stella Summer Rose in April. Stella Summer Rose is a flanker to 2003's Stella, and presumably replaces the annual summer version of Stella Sheer (see 2011, 2010, 2009).

The notes include frosted lemon, green apple, rose, peony and amber.

Stella McCartney Stella Summer Rose will be available in 100 ml Eau de Toilette.

Now where did that green apple drop from?

Roses on the bottle are beautiful.

Stella Sheer always had green apple. Betcha this is very similar or the same.

I honestly can’t remember if Stella Sheer changed from year to year, but it’s had green apple more recently than that. Maybe always.

What is the lasting power like for an EDT like this? LOVE the bottle.

Lasting power is poor… 2 hours tops.

    Ooo, pretty!
I have three of the Stella Sheers, and they do differ quite a bit.
2008 – Is my least favourite and has almost no fruits and is more quiet, a lot like Stella nude. The bottle is opaque.
2004 is purple and frosted with flowers. It has apples and lemon among the notes and is one of my all time favourite scents.
2009 is a lot like 2004, but sweeter, the rose is a bit more YSL the previous years.
    I’m definetly smelling this one.
