Lush has launched 25:43, a new fragrance for women:
LUSH inventor and co-founder Mark Constantine created this perfume especially for his son Simon in honor of his wedding day. Simon's bride wore this fresh and citrusy perfume down the aisle, and it captured the moment beautifully with notes of tonka and lime accord. Simon (not one to be bested by his Dad) later added notes of lemongrass, vanilla, ylang ylang and litsea to round out the already light and clean essence of 25:43. Born of a truly romantic notion, share this perfume with your partner to create your own scented memories!
Lush 25:43 is available in 10 or 30 ml ($15 / $40).

Update: see a review of Lush 25:43.
Oh gosh! Want to try this, as I’ve been contemplating wedding perfume ideas.
It does sound really nice — I’d like to try it.
Me too!
I tested this today! It was nice, though a little too girly for me 🙂
Good to know, thanks!
I haven’t had a good experience with any Lush perfume. All were heavy overdone smell bombs.
The notes on this sound lovely, but more like a sports fragrance than a wedding perfume. And both are supposed to wear it? I prefer my boyfriend to have something different than mine.
I’d risk $10 on it, but am not expecting much.
They have a definite style, and it’s definitely bold. I like some of them.
I’m still trying to figure out which ones to sample. Superworld Unknown, The Smell Of Weather Turning and Icon, definately. Maybe Cocktail and Dear John too. And possibly Love and Tuca Tuca. I don’t know I can’t ever seem to make up my mind. Maybe I should just start with the three I know I want to try.
My favorite is probably B Scent, although I haven’t smelled all the newer limited editions.
I’ll have to try that again. A friend sent me a sample from when B Never Too Busy To Be Beautiful was still around, but I have to admit, the only thing she sent me from them that I remember all that well was one of the kohl eyeliners. Mostly because I can’t apply it in anything even remotely like an acceptable fashion. Or couldn’t. I think it’s gone. I also think I may need to clean out my medicine cabinet…
Lush make at their perfumes at extrait strength, which might come as a shock to people accustomed to EDT and EDP. So tread carefully and use only a little. That way you get the best out of them. Their methods are traditional, their materials are fabulous and it’s worth getting to know them better. IMHO.
Totally agree, Unity. : )
