Bunch o’ limited edition collector bottles 2012, part 2

Posted by Robin on 26 January 2012 23 Comments

More limited edition collector fragrance bottles, with the usual disclaimers: in most of these cases, the juice is unchanged, just the bottle is “special” (or not, as the case may be), and some of these may not be available in the US.

From Chloé, the Love, Chloé purse spray in a rose gold finish with a chain attached to the cap. 72€, comes with two 10 ml refills. Due to launch later this month. (via elle.nl)

Flowerbomb, Valentine's Day 2012

From Viktor & Rolf, a Valentine's Day edition of Flowerbomb: "This Valentine's Day, Flowerbomb wears its sexiest outfit. The iconic eau de parfum is twisted with satin ribbons bearing the signature Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb logo wrapped all over the bottle and box to symbolize the tightest and most enveloping love ever felt." $107 for 50 ml at Nordstrom.

Lacoste Touch of Pink solid

From Lacoste, Touch of Pink in a solid perfume: "It comes in a bright white spherical flacon glazed with a metallic sheen and a pink croc motif emblazoned on the circular metal disc". It will be a gift with purchase for Valentine's Day, in selected markets. (via purebeauty.co.uk)

Chanel Twist and Spray Bleu de ChanelChanel Twist and Spray Chance

From Chanel, 'Twist and Spray' travel sets. For the men, Bleu de Chanel (shown above left), in 20 ml with 2 refills, 63€. (via leparisien.fr) And for the women, all three versions of Chance (original, Chance Eau Tendre and Chance Eau Fraîche), again in 20 ml with 2 refills, $72. (via elle.nl)

I want that Chloe bottle! I ADORE Flowerbomb but won’t be needing that bottle. Well maybe I will. Ha! My brother NEEDS everything Bleu so I will most likely have to get him that travel set. I’m not a fan of Bleu and wish they would go all out for Blanche instead. Oh well. : )

I just started adoring Blanche not so long ago, definitely getting it!

I’m having birthday in a month time, so I’ll make a wish for Blanche, if I don’t get it, I think I’ll buy it myself

I want that Chloe bottle too, darn it. Already know I’ll never pay for it, so it’s just as well that I’m forgetful, LOL…

That’s an awful lot of flowery prose for what looks like the regular Flowerbomb bottle wrapped in a crappy ribbon.

I know! Not what I think of as a sexy outfit.

Made me think of ooky bondage clothes. I guess ribbon is better than leather, but the darn thing looks awfully well-constrained! (Now, if it somehow made me think of Cher in that video with the Navy sailors, maybe I’d think more sexy and less ooky!)

I must admit that the Love, Chloe bottle looks kind of good in a faux-luxe kind of way. I am getting kind of sick of the lazy Flowerbomb flankers, though!

This isn’t even as energetic as a flanker — it’s just a collector bottle ;-)

I love those Chanel ‘Twist and Spray’ travel sets. But with the options being only Chance or Bleu, I am not tempted that much.

Sorry but Chloe looks like good ol’ Midnight Oud from Juliette has a Gun with a little chain. I do like the style of the Chanel bottles but I am a sucker for Chanel. Jersey is lovely.

But this is shaped like a flask, and that was a round bottle? Or I’m forgetting what that one looked like.
