Diesel Only The Brave Tattoo ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 24 January 2012 20 Comments

Diesel Only The Brave Tattoo

Italian denim brand Diesel has launched Only The Brave Tattoo. The new fragrance for men is a flanker to 2009's Only The Brave, and was inspired by "having the courage to wear your convictions on your skin forever".

Notes include apple, sage, Bourbon pepper, amber wood, benzoin, tobacco and patchouli.

Diesel Only The Brave Tattoo is available in 50, 75 and 125 ml Eau de Toilette.

They should change the composition cause the traditional Only The Brave is nothing original… Contrariwise, it’s a kind of an actual-male-perfume-cliche: citric notes at top and a widely used sweet base. Well, that’s what sells millions.

They did change the composition — this is a new scent.

Then I’ll have to check it out. Maybe this new one is better. Thanks.

I think I’ll give it a try too, but I’m not hoping for anything special. I’m focusing on other fragrances, though.

I have to say, everything after the apple sounds pretty nice.

        Still, there’s apple. xp

Oh, that’s right! I haven’t noticed. I have a problem with apple fragrances

And so do I. But I recently bought Un Jardin Sur Le Toit and that’s soo good!

My tired mind read those notes as “apple, sage, bacon pepper” just like those commercials where women keep bacon in their purse to attract men. I need coffee.
I do like the bottle, its fun.

This is one kind of waste of a good-bottle, like in countless other frags…

Yeah! Only now I noticed how many things that hand can hold. I have so many great ideas…

I find this bottle hilarious. It reminds me of those vintage overly-literal Avon aftershave bottles that look like tall ships and cowboy boots.

wish Avon still did some of those! I love the cheesy goodness. Would make great stocking stuffers or white elephant gifts.

I used to get those for my father all the time when i was a lil tyke. A train, and a mallard duck, and a foaming beer mug, and an indy car. The list goes on and on. I think he takes new fragrances and actually refills those things these days. haha.

The bottle cracks me up, too. I can’t take it (or any man with this on his dresser) seriously.

Can’t wait to test this one. When does it come out, Robin, and where will it be sold? Macy’s?

I’m sorry but as usual, I don’t know. Moodiereport says it launches in March, but it’s already out in Germany, that’s all I know.
