Les Parfums de Rosine Glam Rose ~ new perfume

Posted by Robin on 21 October 2011 8 Comments

Les Parfums de Rosine Glam Rose

French niche line Les Parfums de Rosine has launched Glam Rose, a new leathery fruity floral for women:

Glam Rose is aimed at the complex woman who dares to declare her uniqueness and difference, with an intangible touch of boldness and ultra-femininity.

A rose bourbon, the Variegata di Bologna, with a violet smell.

Rose Glam was developed by perfumers Benoist Lapouza and Delphine Lebeau. The notes include peppercorn, ambrette, blackcurrant leaves, rose, violet, jasmine, lychee, cedar, buckskin, raspberry and musk.

Les Parfums de Rosine Glam Rose is available in 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

The list of notes is intriguing. Definitely a must try.

Gotta admit I am not that drawn in. Might be done with Rosine.

I’m always happy to try a new Rosine. Did they use a silver cap this time? Glam indeed!

It took me a minute to figure out what was “wrong” with the picture, then I realized it was the silver cap!

I like that bottle…want to try! But I (can’t believe this) have already purchased 3 full bottles this fall.

They are pretty bottles, but boy, there are a lot of them!

this is a bit of a departure for Rosine, is it not? All the Rosines I’ve sampled (all of them, I think) smell, first and foremost, of ROSE. This one sounds like…hmmm….

for leather/rose I always go to Liz Zorn’s Cordovan Rose – but I’m not averse to sampling this (good grief, could I sound any wishier-washier? LOL!)

    xo A

      LOL!!

IMHO, the Rosine line is maybe big enough now? Or maybe they ought to axe some of the older ones.
