I have broken the widget-thingie on the right column that lets you log into your reader account so that you can comment. Depending on what browser you are using, you might or might not see it. Sorry. I am working on it. When it's fixed, this post will disappear. Meantime, you should still be able to log in from the comments section of each article.

Update: and I'm also seeing pop up ads on this site that should not be here. Apologies, I will get everything fixed as soon as I can.

Another update: well, this day is gone, but things are sort of mostly fixed. There is a login widget again, although it doesn't look right and I probably won't get it to look right until next week. And the pop up ads, so far as I know, are taken care of. It's too late to start the Monday Mail, so that will appear on Tuesday, and Angela's post that should have appeared today will now be on Thursday. That means the Damage poll is tomorrow, see you then!

I completely agree with Julia. This is an amazing website, and you have fun, educational content with a wonderful community. Bless you for the work you to behind the scenes to keep things running.

Other thought: it is a *great* Monday–I just saw on the Luckyscent website that the Le Labo city exculsives will be available in November. Whoo-hoo! I’m in love with one that I’ve not yet had the chance to go to the city. . .so spendy FB coming right up. Be well.

I’m just glad to know that someone else uses words like “widget-thingie” without apologizing for them. 🙂

Sorry, you’re having a tough day, Robin; “software wars” can be very frustrating. Just want to let you know that I appreciate all you do to make NST the wonderful community it is.

Thank you everyone! This was a crappy day, and on top of everything else my heat turned on for the first time — always a depressing moment for me since I detest cold weather. But hey, tomorrow is sure to be better 🙂

I’m sorry you had a tough day. Technical stuff is awful, and makes me want to use words not appropriate here. But thank you for working through it. I love your blog and really respect the work you put into it.

Sorry about the technical challenges today. Technology is really wonderful–when it works. When it doesn’t, it can make me want to scream. I do really love this blog and I can imagine how much work it is to keep it going.

So the damage poll is tomorrow, is it? Gee, I think I might be really, really busy tomorrow, maybe too busy to check in here. In fact, I think I might have to go out of town or something, like, maybe I might have to go to Antarctica to analyze the ozone layer or something.

And that polar ice–it needs analyzing really, really, bad. Besides, it is spring down there right now, so this is the ideal time of year to visit. I shouldn’t be gone more than 3 or 4 months.
