Christina Aguilera Secret Potion ~ new perfume

Posted by Robin on 21 September 2011 14 Comments

Christina Aguilera Secret Potion

Christina Aguilera has launched Secret Potion, her latest fragrance for women:

Secret Potion is a celebration of how glorious it is to be a woman: a combination of exotic and sparkling fruits and sensuous floral femininity.

Christina Aguilera Secret Potion is inspired by Christina's favourite time of day - night time, when your sexiness and sensuality shines amidst the darkness. The oriental floral blend embodies the essence of a secret evening rendezvous with its exotic, sparkling fruits and sensuous florals for a feminine appeal.

The notes for the floriental perfume feature passion fruit, lemon, mandarin, lotus, jasmine, orange blossom, tonka bean, ebony and musk.

Christina Aguilera Secret Potion is available now at The Perfume Shop in the UK, in 30 and 50 ml Eau de Parfum.

Not to add to the growing pandemic of pessimism that is already rampant among fragrance junkies, but this just seems …. “BLAH!”

Hers is not my favorite of the celebrity lines, but admit I have not smelled the last couple.

While it’s obviously a fruity-floral, I will say this in it’s favor… I don’t see one single member of the BERRY family anywhere in the notes. I’ll sniff it on that point along (buying it is another story).

Hard to tell…could be a floriental.

LOL…I’m asleep! I say “could be a floriental”, but in fact, it *is* a floriental, and I said so in the article.

There must be an automatic copywriting software for this type of products.

Sparkling feminine fruity floral sensuality yada yada yada … 😀

If there isn’t an automatic generator, there ought to be!

Are we the only ones who get tired of this kind of ad copy – the ‘sparkling fruity , sensual exotic, feminity ‘ ?

I doubt it. But we have a place to snark it in perpetuity!

I doubt we get as tired of it as the people who have to write it. Seriously, I’d rather read it than write it.

Hmm… I’d never though about that. Upon reading your words, I put myself in the mindset of that person…

…and the result was a glimpse of what Hell must be like.

I’d like to see how far I would get using this kind of language in MY job.

There are so many of these flirty sensuous florals out there that I’m only really interested in the bottles, now.

i dont get it. she already did Christina Aguilera By Night,
and they went on about how night is her favorite time of day.
    why are they repeating themselves?
it honestly looks like they don’t know what to say about this perfume.
