Van Cleef & Arpels Feerie Rose des Neiges ~ new perfume

Posted by Robin on 16 August 2011 10 Comments

Van Cleef & Arpels Féerie Rose des Neiges

Van Cleef & Arpels will launch Féerie Rose des Neiges, a new limited edition fragrance for women, in September. Féerie Rose des Neiges was inspired by the rose Fée des neiges, and is a flanker to 2008's Féerie.

Rose des Neiges retains all the luxury and elegance of Feerie, with a fairy that weaves a connection between Haute Joaillerie and Haute Parfumerie.

This time a Winter rose with a magical name conveys the mysterious brilliance of the house's precious stones.

The facets of the bottle endlessly reflect the soft light of the winter sun—at once pure, vivid and mysterious. As sparkling as ever, Rose des Neiges is dressed in pearly white in tribute to the pretty white rose that bears its name.

The notes for the fruity floral musk fragrance include lychee, pink pepper, rose, magnolia, tonka bean and sandalwood.

Van Cleef & Arpels Féerie Rose des Neiges will be available in 30 and 50 ml Eau de Toilette. The larger size can be pre-ordered now at Neiman Marcus for $90.

Oh, heck; musk or no musk, I am probably going to have to bite on this one. I am hoping the smaller sizes will still be in the cute bottle. I got the original in the large size, and I thought it was a tad too big; I expected a dainty little thing.

Wonder if the smaller size will get to the US at all though? Neiman Marcus never seems to have them. Maybe at VCA stores?

I’ll probably wait til it hits the discounters; I got my original bottle on Amazon for a killer price.

I hope they do a green one….kind of surprised they didn’t start with one, as Faeries just seem to go with green in my mind.

And a pink one, with the scent of foxgloves, because we all know they sleep in the foxgloves.

I’m wearing the original Feerie today. How funny! Though mine’s a decant, it is impressive how much it has come down in price if one shops the discount sites and I can easily see an fb in my future. It feels a bit like Insolence’s precocious little sister trying to play mysterious, but I still love it.

Feerie Rose des Neiges sounds wonderful! I wonder if it will smell a bit like Manakara with those notes… *drools* It sounds lovely and is now on my must try list.

I will certainly give this one a try when I see it at NM. Feerie was just too fruity for me though.

Yea, I don’t wear it often. Definitely fruity, but I will say the violet is more prominent on my skin as it wears on.

It’s never going to be my go to violet, but that bottle sure makes me smile.

The blue bottle of Feerie Eau de Parfum is one of the most beautiful bottles I’ve ever seen (if it’s not the most). I’d like to have one just cause of it.

As a bottle hag, I love that bottle, but I’d want the big blue one and I don’t know if I like the fragrance enough to go for it.

Got my big bottle on Amazon for well under 60 bucks. No box, but the bottle itself was perfect.
