Lili Bermuda Alegria ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 26 July 2011 5 Comments

Lili Bermuda Alegria

Lili Bermuda has launched Alegria, a new perfume for women:

Alegria is a celebration. It is Lili Bermuda’s ode to our island nation’s unique heritage. Alegria evokes all the qualities that reinforce the Island’s reputation as the sparkling gem of the Atlantic.

The notes for the "white chypre" fragrance include orange blossom, coriander, passion fruit, frangipani, cedar, tuberose, patchouli, incense and labdanum.

Lili Bermuda Alegria is available in 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette, or 15 and 30 ml Parfum. (via press release)

I’m trying to form an olfactory picture of this one and can’t seem to do so. The notes look intriguing and I do love tropicals and chypres. Off to go figure out where to score a sample….

I don’t really know what a white chypre is, except that I suspect it’s clean.

I bought their South Water fragrance last year after a visit to Bermuda. It was one of the most sophisticated “suntan lotion” scents I ever experienced.
    I love it!

I just received a sample from Lili Bermuda today and it’s lovely – sweet and well-blended, fruity without being overly candied, gentle above all. It brought a much-needed note of relaxation to this fraught work day. 🙂
