The verbose and over-the-top ad copy followed by this curt statement garnered a chuckle!

Pretty sure that’s her standard bottle.

    Robin,
I received the summer catalog from Bergdorf Goodman last week and this perfume was featured in one of the advertisements,
“Trish McEvoy has released her latest iconic scent……..”
I thought of you and chuckled. 😉

If this was a lot less money I’d probably be more interested. She has a standard line that is more reasonably priced. I’m not that fond of the current offerings, although the Blackberry Musk is OK. I have the discontinuted Citrus Petals that is pretty nice. TM is upmarket cosmetics, but the price is very aspirational even for her when you consider the glorious fragrances released by other houses that are probably much better done. By this standard TM is more spendy than Ormonde Jayne, Miller Harris, L’Artisan, etc. I wonder how good this one is, but it seems to be on the back end of the Oud cycle….

Totally agree on the pricing. I did hear Precious Oud was nice, but I can’t remember if I ever smelled it or not.

OMG I just read that. $185? I could think of so many better ways to waste that money…

Yes! That made me laugh at the “provocative feeling of déja vu…”

I liked the bottle until I read Merlin’s comment.
