I got a sample of Saharienne. It could easily be a new flanker/version of the Les Escales by Dior.
That makes sense since that’s about what it sounds like! Did you like it?
It starts out very sharp (citrus), when it settles there is a
smell like the notes in the Guerlain Flora Nymphea (maybe the white flowers) and a tea scent is waving in. It is not bad, but not my cup of tea.
Thanks!
Particularly telling at .17!
How so? (she looks to me like she’s freezing but I might have missed whatever else you saw)
That would make more sense given the rest of the clip! To me it looked like some (ahem, clear throat) push-ups…
The girl is incredibly beautiful, the ad intriguing, the flacon beguiling … but the fragrance in itself is a big BLAH.
It showed up in Prague a couple of weeks ago and I’ve tried it on and off since. The flacon gets lost among the Escales by Dior and the O’s (Azur, Orangerie) from Lancome. When I first read Robin’s introduction, it brought to mind the eternal, fragranced desert wind touching the face and hair of Coelho’s apprentice from “The Alchemist” like a secret love spell. I anxiously awaited the fragrance launch. And then … I am not a pro at describing notes, but the drydown seems as someone mixed Armani’s Diamonds EDT with Gucci’s Flora Fresh in a bottle previosly containing Chanel Chance Eau Tendre, and added a squirt of water for good measure. Blah.
Uh oh!
