Marc Ecko Blue ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 13 April 2011 12 Comments

Marc Ecko Blue

Marc Ecko has launched Marc Ecko Blue, a new fragrance for men. It appears to be a flanker to the brand's debut scent, Ecko by Marc Ecko, which launched in 2009.

The Essence of Cool Confidence Marc Ecko BLUE is crisp, confident and inviting. This aromatic fougere entices with clean, bright citrus notes; a refreshing counterpoint to juicy black currant and wild plum. Chilled H20 leads into an icy remix, notes of geranium, fresh picked herbs and juniper berry add a clean, spicy groove. Frosted blue lavender spins an icy counterpoint. Sexy finds its own rhythm with a ménage a trois woods accord. Earthy and woody notes, Spanish oakmoss and Australian eco-sandalwood hook up with an electronic musk accord to lend heat and sensual intensity. Futuristic, but far from cold. Sexy, modern and memorable, Marc Ecko BLUE is for the man who refuses to accept convention, a man who is always intrigued with exploring new boundaries and open to a world of unlimited possibility.

Marc Ecko Blue is available now at Dillards, in 100 ml Eau de Toilette for $65. (via dillards)

it doesn’t sound as boring as i’d expect… but i doubt i’ll ever get to try this one out (unless it’ll be available outside the US lol)

Chilled H20 means I probably won’t like it, and I never even tried the original Ecko, did you?

as i’m situated in Central Europe, i don’t really get a lot of chances to try fragrances from more US centric brands…

I didn´t know the brand at all until last october, then I bought a travel bag on Ross and I loved the design.

I am intrigued about the frags, where do you think they sell them? Wallgreens, etc?

This one is in Dillards, which is a mid-to-lower end department store, like Macy’s. And Macy’s has the other ones.

          Ha…and like so many fragrance shoppers, I’m mid-to-lower with mid-to-upper aspirations :-)

Menage a trois woods? What imagery were they hoping I’d go for, there?
