Bunch o’ limited edition collector bottles 2011, part 3

Posted by Robin on 10 March 2011 20 Comments

More limited edition collector fragrance bottles, with the usual disclaimers: in most of these cases, the juice is unchanged, just the bottle is “special” (or not, as the case may be), and some of these may not be available in the US.

Bvlgari Charms perfume bottles

From Bvlgari, the Bvlgari Charms collection, featuring 25 ml bottles of Rose Essentielle (pink), Pour Femme (yellow), Omnia Green Jade (green), BLV Eau de Parfum II (blue), Omnia Améthyste (purple), Omnia Crystalline (white), Jasmin Noir (black) and Mon Jasmin Noir (white with black ribbon). $45 each, at Nordstrom.

Victorinox Swiss Unlimited On The Road Limited Edition

From Victorinox, the Swiss Unlimited On The Road Limited Edition: "Featuring the same scent as our original Victorinox Swiss Unlimited, this unique Limited Edition comes in a signature black bottle, highlighting our theme for the year - Your Companion for Life, On the Road." $78 at Bloomingdales.

Clinique Happy in Bloom travel size

From Clinique, a limited edition travel size of Happy in Bloom. At Sephora, $32 for 30 ml.

Flowerbomb La Vie en Rose

This year's version of Flowerbomb La Vie en Rose from Viktor & Rolf. "Opening with bergamot and tangerine accords, the heart notes comprise a rose and lily-of-the-valley bouquet enhanced with pink peppercorns. It ends with amber and woody notes of cashmere and patchouli." Due to launch in April. (via diarydirectory)

OK, I will admit that those Bulgari bottles are pretty cute. And yay for the smaller size/price point.

I think the correct term is “freaking adorable” ;-)

Hasn’t Omnia been discontinued? I have heard that quite a bit lately, perhaps that’s why?

Could be, I have no idea.

Yep, freaking adorable works for me, and y’all know I am a big fan of the rose, so…hooray!

And why DON’T They make smaller sizes, anyway? Seriously??
Surely some of the houses have people reading these blogs occasionally?

I saw the Bvlgari bottles in one of their stores…and they’re just as freaking adorable in person. They did a great job on them because they actually look like piece of jewelry.

Is the glass tinted, or is it clear glass with the ‘juice’ providing the colors?

I’ve been lusting after them for days ever since I first saw them. So adorable.

Sorry to be the voice of the minority, but I think the Bvlgari ones look like computer mice. But I do agree that small bottles are nice!

Even if so I do not understand why it’s bad: I saw plenty of very cute computer mice (especially those for portable computers).

Those Bvlgari Charm bottles are reminiscent of the Dior Amulets…

V&R has done a nice job, as usual.

I don’t know if the frag is any good, but I really like the Victorinox bottle. When I was out in the wilderness, I always carried my Swiss Army knife. I seldom needed the knife blades, but you could always tie a cord to the clip and use the weight to rig a rope over a tree limb.

If it only had a corkscrew on the bottle, it would be perfect!

Theres an article on http://www.departures.com which is website of the magazine for American express platinum card holders & had a photo of the new TF Neroli Portofino bottle. Apaprently the new skincare & beauty line will be fragranced with Neroli Portofino & the decanter bottle will be recoloured in that bright aquamarine blue so presume the skincare will be following that route. Not sure if the new bottle will stay blue or just be limited, but as Lavender Palm bottles went silver maybe he’s planning to start playing with the bottle colours now
