Next time I wear my yellow jumpsuit, this is the cologne to match!!
I would love to meet someone in real life who wears Joop! clothing – just to pick their brain. A few seasons ago they were selling orange velour suits – tailored suits – for men – seriously.
Even Liberace couldn’t have pulled it off. 😉
@ least this ad will advise people how to correctly pronounce Joop! And more on topic, I like the often reviled original Joop! Homme.
I’m afraid I do not pay attention to fashion at all, and had no idea the outfit he was wearing was something Joop proposed that real men wear in real life. Ha.
Bear- Orange velour suits? I missed that one. You know, I kind of wonder where they get these ideas for haute couture since most of what I see on the runways and in the magazines no one, but say, Lady Gaga would wear.
The spot was okay, but I think it could do without the yellow jumpsuit.
Hello Dolly2!

Click on the ad and that is Wolfgang Joop himself modeling the suit. Thanks, your post made me search for the ad – there were others but I can’t find them….
Oh I sort of love it! Especially since it looks like he is wearing his pajamas underneath! 😉
Hi again Bear!
Wow! That jumpsuit looked a lot like the covers for the throw pillows my cousin had on her couch back in the 70’s. Same color and looks to be the same material. Thanks for the link.
Maybe he works somewhere where he has to wear the yellow jumpsuit? Where I work, we have to wear coveralls if we go into a process area. They aren’t yellow at any rate–they are blue. The contractors wear different colors, though, and some of them are orange. One of the joys of working in an industrial setting–ugly work clothes.
That’s what I assumed it was — a work outfit of some sort.
