What is it: A 50 ml bottle of Estee Lauder Wild Elixir + a 50 ml bottle of Estee Lauder Beautiful Eau de Toilette + a 30 ml bottle of Pacifica California Star Jasmine. Plus, your choice of one bottle from the Le Labo + Anthropologie collection. I have decanted small samples from each (I keep the samples, you get the bottles).
How do I get it: For a chance to win, leave a comment telling me that you live in the US. Also, please us either a) what movie you think will win the 2011 Oscars or b) what celebrity you think will get a perfume deal in 2011 or c) the name of the last fragrance you tried and loved.

I live in the US, and I just tried and loved Aesop Mystra…
I live in the US.
I think The Social Network will win the Oscar, but would love to see The King’s Speech win.
Thanks!
I live in the US, and tried Cuir et Champignon and loved it!!
I just bought Miss Pucci. I wish it had a different name but I like the smell. I live in the US. Thanks!
I live in the US and I just sampled and loved Penhaligons Gardenia!
Lush!
I live in the US.
a) Black Swan (I wish)
b) it’s horrible to think about that
c)ELDO’s Jasmin et Cigarette
Thank you.
I live in the US, and think The King’s Speech will win the 2011 Oscars.
Oh lovely. Live in the US.
I’ll admit I have only seen Inception out of all the Best Picture nominations — never got around to Black Swan unfortunately despite being a former dancer, it’s on my list though — but I’m going to put my money on The King’s Speech which I’ve also heard was excellent. It just seems like Oscar material based on all the things I’ve heard about it. Though, honestly I’ll be fine with anything that’s NOT the Social Network. I still can’t fathom how the world needs a biopic about the founder of Facebook.
Thanks.
Thank you!
I live in the US, and the last fragrance I tried and loved was vintage Lanvin Scandal (thanks, nozknoz!)
I live in the US. I’m hoping the King’s Speech wins an Oscar just because of my love for Colin Firth. I haven’t even seen the film yet.
I live in the U.S.
I’d like to see Inception win, it was mind-blowing. Also the only movie I’ve seen in that category.
True Grit will definitely win on Oscar
&
Nasomatto’s Black Afgano is my most recent find. I can’t wear it enough
&
I do live in the US
I live in the US and want to enter the draw!
Since, I’m not much of a celebrity-follower, I’ll have to answer question C: I recently tried Derby by Guerlain and can’t get enough of it! My little sample is not nearly enough!
I live in the US and I got a box set of Latifahs Queen, lotion, and bodybutter for only $12 and I love it.
I live in the US and would love to be entered in the draw!
Hm, the next celebrity to launch their own fragrance? My money’s on Snookie or any of the rest of the Jersey Shore gang. It will be as trashy as all get-out but possibly a fun, cheap thrill.
I live in the US. The last fragrance I tried and loved was Paestum Rose – but I knew I would love it going in since I already loved Jubilation XXV and Baume du Doge. Why not bet on a sure thing?
I live in the US and I am hoping for The King’s Speech to win since I love anything Colin Firth is in. I most recently tried Chanel #19 and it is perfectly beautiful. My most recent ebay find was a bottle of
Vintage Crepe de Chine. Amazing scent.
I live in the US and:
a) The King’s Speech or True Grit (going with the former if I had to pick one)
b) Who knows… I have no idea which celebrities have not released perfumes. However, I can see some popular bloggers getting on that bandwagon too
c) Traversee du Bosphore is something I can see myself jumping for a FB soon
I love love love Odori Tabacco- if I could afford to bathe in it I would! It is such a comforting scent.
OOPS- I do also live in the US. Since i messed up the last post…… I think that The King’s Speech will win multiple awards this year at the Oscars. The acting was amazing (all around) so I think it’ll definately win several awards!
i live in the US. I am pretty surprised Scarlett Johansen (sp?) doesn’t have a fragrance yet, or at least isn’t the face of one. I could see Natalie Portman creating an interesting one, but I don’t think she’s the type of celebrity that companies are looking for. I guess she already works for Dior anyhow.
When I think of Angelina Jolie, for some reason I think of Boucheron’s “Trouble,” for some reason-that deep red jewel-like bottle with the snake…anyone else? i think it’s discontinued.
I live in the US, and the last perfume that I tried and loved was Le Labo Poivre 23!
I live in the US.
C is the easiest to answer since I’m trying Portrait of a Lady for the first time today and it’s lovely!
Really don’t want to see another celebrity scent on the market….
I would love to win these goodies!
I live in Texas and I really hope “The Kings Speech” wins =)
I live in the U.S.
a) I am voting for The King’s Speech and am hoping they sweep the Oscars.
b) Unfortunately, some reality star will probably get a fragrance contract and it will smell cheap and vile. *sigh*
c) I finally got a bon bon of Bond No. 9 Andy Warhol’s Silver Factory and I am in love. Now working on how to finance a bottle.
I live in the U.S. The last perfume I tried and loved was Bond No 9 Nuits de Noho. I love it and it loves me back as I received many compliments the first day I wore it and literally had both men and women stop me on the street to ask what I was wearing.
I live in the U.S.
A) I haven’t watched any of the movies nominated for an Oscar…I should get to watching.
B)Celebrity with a fragrance contract…….unfortunately…it will probably be Snookie and it will probably smell like tanning lotion.
C) I have recently tried and fallen in love with Diptyque’s Eau Duelle…yum.
I live in the U.S. and I think that “The King’s Speech” will win the Oscar.
I live in the US, the last last fragrance I tried and loved is Lutens Fille en Aiguilles.
I live in the U.S., and offer the following prophecies:
1) Toy Story III will win, because other contenders will split the vote. (And people will complain, and forget in their anger that a more worthy film did not win that Toy Story III was actually a good movie. Not great, perhaps, but not “some animated film.”)
2) *A* celebrity that will get a fragrance in 2011 will be … Facebook. Yes, Facebook will have its own fragrance. 😉
3) Last fragrance, new to me, tried and loved…might need to go with the MFK Pour Le Soir, which yes, was an absolute skankfest time after time, but on @ the 4th try settled down and became a luscious snugglefest. Though, truth be told, I haven’t gone back to see if it will play that way again…the first rounds were scary… In a similar vein, I recently found the love for Musc Ravageur after a long “nope, doesn’t play nice” spell. Kinda dug Coeur de Vetiver Sacre right away.
Thanks for letting me play your game today. 🙂
I live in the US!!
I am trying a dab of vintage Aphrodesia on one hand and some vintage Dehra’s Royal Myrtle Perfume # 101 on the other. Bliss!
I live in the US. I think Jason Statham should have a fragrance simply because thats the celebrity whom i most resemble.
I live in the US and I hope that “Black Swan” takes the oscars, it is an amazing movie.
I live in the U.S., and the last (new for me fragrance) that I tried and purchased is Guerlain Insolence EDP. Yum but strong! Phew…. but love it in small doses!
I live in the US
1. Black Swan
2. Kourtney Kardashian (I think she is dying for more of the Kardasian spotlight). However, I do like LaMaroc’s Snooki answer!
3. Juicy Couture Dirty English
Thanks for the contest! I live in the US.
a) I think The King’s Speech will win
Bonus questions:
b) Michelle Williams will get a perfume deal in 2011 (wishful thinking)
c) AbdesSalaam Attar (profumo.it) Benzoin was probably the last perfume I tried that I LOVED.
I live in the US. I’m hoping Black Swan will win. Natalie Portman is so amazing. I’ve recently tried and loved Bas de Soie.
I live in the US and I think my bb Bill Kaulitz will get a perfume deal in 2011.
What a great contest. I discovered the Anthropologie/Le Labo scents during Christmas and each time I passed Anthropologie during weeks of shopping I stopped in and sprayed one arm with Chant de Bois and the other arm with Poudre D’Orient, which are the two that I have fallen in love with and are my most recent perfume love/discoveries. I live in the U.S. and would love to be entered in the contest. Thank you.
I live in the USA — I think Anne Hathaway might be the next celebrity to have a fragrance.
I live in the U.S. and I think The King’s Speech will win. The last fragrance I’ve tried and loved was Mona di Orio’s Cuir.
Wonderful!
I live in the U.S.
I think True Grit will win an Oscar. The remake was better than the original!
Thanks!
Wow – nice prize! 🙂
Please do enter me in the draw. I happily live in the USA and you have my permission for email use and all the other disclaimers necessary.
a) Another vote for The King’s Speech. It is a quality piece of work and seems the kind of thing the Academy voters typically embrace.
b) Since her older sisters are already in the beauty biz and she herself is starting to get a lot of favorable buzz, a scent from Lizzie Olsen wouldn’t surprise me
c) Nuits de Noho – Bond. I don’t want to like it, I shouldn’t like it, but it keeps slithering into my hand when I rummage in my sample box, grinning at me.
I live in the US and would love to enter.
a) I’m thinking it’ll be close– either Black Swan or King’s Speech.
b) In a perfect world, Dame Helen Mirren would have a fragrance deal, but it will more likely be someone like Ke$ha or Kristen Stewart.
b) Loving Aroma M’s absinthe-tastic Geisha Green!
I live in the US! And I’ll have to answer C because I don’t follow movies or actors (I don’t knoooow). Ok, um. OH! In my search for the perfect rose, I tried Malle’s Une Rose for the first time. LOVELY. But I was surprised it was considered ‘the darkest rose ever’ by a lot of people. I guess wearing Sonoma Scent Studio’s dark-winy Vintage Rose prepped me for this one. I get a very green/wet rose with some um…manure-dirt. Wonderful, but not what I expected.
ahaha, also? In the 2 minutes it took me to open this and write up a response, my daughter decided to spill her whole bowl of beans on the floor. She’s quick!
I live in the US – please enter me in the drawing!
Just checked the list of nominees – I forgot they now have 10 in the best movie category. So many choices. I saw True Grit, Toy Story 3, Inception and Black Swan and loved all of them, but think based on the buzz, it will probably be King’s Speech, Social Network or Black Swan – I hope it is, Natalie Portman was amazing!
I live in the US… and my guess is that The Social Network will win for Best Picture. Thanks for another great giveaway!
I live in the U.S. I think The Social Network will win. I’d like to see Natalie Portman come out with a classy perfume.
I live in the US.
I think The King’s Speech will win. I saw The Fighter and Christian Bale and Melissa Leo are front runners for me.
I live in the US
1) The Kings Speech
2) I would love for the classy Cate Blanchett to come out with one!
3)Aftelier’s Candide
Thank you!
I live in the US. The last fragrance I tried and loved – Fireside intense Sonoma Scent Studio.
I live in the US and you may use my email to contact me, and all that good stuff.
Colin Firth, Best Actor for The King’s Speech. I LOVE this man. LOVE.
I live in the U.S. and the last perfume I tried and loved was L’Artisan Dzongkha.
I live in the US. Social Network. Memoir Woman.
Please enter me in the contest, I live in San Francisco, CA. I believe The Kings Speech will win best film, Natalie Portman will sign a fragrance deal, the last fragrance I tried and loved was Xerjoff Richwood. Thanks!
I live in the U.S.A. The last fragrance I tried was Untitled No.8 by Brent Leonesio. An absolutely fantastic skanky floral musk!
I live in the U.S.
I think Social Network will edge out The King’s Speech. While I really loved both of those films, I would love to see True Grit or The Kids Are All Right win best picture. For me, they both told stories that were more fascinating than either Social or King’s and were all around better films, as a whole. However, the Academy and I are never on the same page, which is why I always lose the Oscar pools I enter.
(And to the person who wrote that Facebook would be the next celebrity to get a perfume deal – thank you for making me laugh so hard I almost wet myself! You’re probably so right.)
I live in the US, and most recently tried vintage Avon Occur! — a sexy, civety wonder.
Pick me, Pick Me please! I live in the US. I saw “The Fighter” and loved it, but I think The King’s Speech will probably get it. I sniffed and loved and bought Bond No. 9 Washington Square. I’m homeless now (just kidding) but I sure smell good
I’m so behind in movies, but didn’t The Social Network win the golden globe?
I just got a sample of Memoire Liquide Homage…love!!!
Yes, I live in the US!
I live in the US. I just saw The Other Guys, hilarious! Just sampled The pour en Ete, love it!
I think Social Network will win, but would love the prize to go to Inception. I was also excited to see Winter’s Bone get a nomination!
I’ve been falling for DK Black Cashmere this winter and think I should get myself a bottle sooner than later.
I live in the US.
I live in the US.
a) The King’s Speech (i haven’t seen it, but i do love me a good period English movie)
b) please, no, really NO! 🙂
c) A Taste of Heaven (By Kilian). Normally lavendar is the kiss of death for me, but the combination with vanilla and absinthe is to die for
I live in the U.S.
Joan Crawford is still blowing up, so I’m going to go with Joan. Her demographic is largely ignored with mainstream releases so there could be something there.
Thanks for the chance!
I live in the U.S. – California, to be precise, the inspiration for the Star Jasmine fragrance!
1) The King’s Speech will win. I have seen it, and it’s well done.
2) Celebrity fragrance – Mrs. Obama, with proceeds going to a health or nutrition-promoting charity (one of her main causes).
3) The original Armani Pour Homme…wearing it now, and I love it!
I live in the US.
The King’s Speech will win the Oscar.
I think Megan Fox will get a perfume deal in the next year – which will be hilarious.
Last perfume I tried and loved is Matchabelli Beloved (vintage, from ebay) and it is the best 10 dollars I’ve spent in the last 6 months!
thanks robin…
i live in the US…
I think we have a 2 horse race for best picture.. the social network and the kings speech…. Although i’m pulling for Colin Firth (who was amazing in A Single Man last year), i think the social network will prevail for best picture.. and the fighter will take supporting actor (Christian Bale) and supporting actress (Melissa Leo, although i’m secretly pulling for Amy Adams)… Oh, and Natalie Portman for Best Actress…
I live in the ol US of A!!!
Portland, Oregon represent!
a) I’d like for Inception to win because Christopher Nolan was robbed of Best Screenplay for Memento and Inception was another original, riveting mindbender.
b) My prediction is 2011 will be the year Madge loses her perfume virginity. I only hope it’s less Hard Candy and more Like A Prayer’s patchouli-incense liner notes.
c) Insolence has been boosting my mornings with sparkling raspberry and soothing my afternoons with soft, sweet violet.
I live in the US and think (hope) The King’s Speech is going to win. Thank you, Robin!
I live in the US and… I think the only feasible Best Picture winner I saw was King’s Speech, which will probably hit it big. I liked it enough, but it didn’t strike a chord in me. I’m actually glad I didn’t pay for my own ticket. But maybe I’m just bitter because it was two hours long and I’d had an entire liter of water in the first 30 minutes.
Hi Robin –
I live in California (that’s still part of the Us, right?).
1) I hope either King’s Speech or Winter’s Bones wins! (both were excellent)
2) I predict that Martha Stewart will do a line of fragrances.
3) Malle’s POAL, M/M Ink (LOVE this one), and my latest purchase Traversee du Bosphore.
Thanks!
I live in the USA and you have my permission to use my email address.
SSS Incense Pure was the last perfume I’ve sampled and loved.
I live in the US and you have permission to use my email address.
I think the Jersey Shore cast members will come out with celebu-scents that will smell like the gym, tanning beds, laundry, and jello shots. I can’t say I’m excited about it but I think it’s inevitable.
I live in the US 🙂
I reallly would like The Fighter to win. Christian Bale was amazing and heartbreaking in that movie.
I think Sue Sylvester (Glee) will get a perfume deal in 2011.
I live in the US and you have my permission to email me via my reader account.
Please enter me in the drawing. I live in the U.S. I think The King’s Speech will win best picture and that Natalie Portman will have her own fragrance.
Thanks so much,
Jill S
I live in the Midwestern US, where the sun has not shone for a month! White and grey all around me. Ick.
No idea on the Oscars (gasp! I know – but I’ve not kept up with films this past year). But my favorite new ‘fume is Cartier’s Fougeuse (one of the new Heures). Pretttty!
xo
I live in the US and the last perfume I tried was Tom Ford’s White Patchouli.
I live in the US and you may certainly use my e-mail to contact me. True Grit gets my vote. Gripping tale. (I never saw the original, but man, oh, man, was this remake excellent).
I live in the US and hope that True Grit wins the best picture Oscar. It was the best movie I’d seen in ages.
I live in the U.S. and I, too, have heard many good things about “The King’s Speech” and hope to have it come to my local theater soon. You have my permission to use my email address.
I live in the US. Thanks for the giveaway.
I’m hoping NeNe Leakes of the Real Housewives of Atlanta gets a perfume deal and the name of the fragrance is BAM!
[DISCLAIMER: Everyone needs a guilty pleasure. Don’t judge. 🙂 ]
I live in the US and you can use my email. Awesome giveaway!
The only movie I have seen is True Grit! So I guess I pick that one.
Just fell for and bought Cuir Pleine Fleur.
I live in the US!!
True Grit will win.
And the last fragrance I tried and love is FM’s Une Rose. 😀
I live in the US. I think True Grit probably will win the Oscar. As to latest try-and-love, definitely Arsene Lupin Dandy, that expensive gentleman-cabrioleur.
I live in the US. a) Don’t follow the Oscars at all, but would love for the King’s Speech to win. b) I could see Sophia Vergara doing something more low-brow (I just love her, but can’t see her being tagged to do any big dept. store release– but definitely Avon) c) unbelievably, I just tried Chanel No. 19 and loved it. Can’t believe she and I had been strangers up until this point. (And I just noticed it was a OR b OR c, but I as usual mis-read the fine print, like I do.)
I live in the US. Not sure which film will win, but I’m rooting for True Grit. Most recent fragrance tested and loved was vintage Chaos.
I live in the US.
You have permission.
B) I suspect, but hope I’m wrong, that Ke$ha will get a fragrance deal. *oy vey*
xoxo,
*jen
I live in the U.S.
Oscar pick: The King’s Speech!
I live in the US, and I am loving Like This. It stays on my coat and gloves forever, making leaving the house in the mornings a wee bit less painful. Someone needs to make an alarm clock that spritzes perfume. That might wake me up!
Wow! So generous! I live in the US. You have permission to use my email address. I have only seen Social Network, but I’m going to guess that the award goes to The Kings Speech. The academy loves those types of movies. I think Snooki is going to get a fragrance. Jersey a la Skank. rebagay at aol (dot) com
Yes, I live in the US. I don’t follow award shows OR celeb fragrance launches, soooo, the last fragrance I loved was Musc de Maori.
I live in the US. I am hoping The Social Network wins, but I think Black Swan or Kings Speech will be more favorable to judges.
I live in the US and you can use the email address in my profile.
Winter’s Bone should win. I have seen almost all of the nominees and it was the best, with True Grit a respectable second best.
If it’s not Winter’s Bone, I say True Grit will win.
I would love to be entered in the draw and i do live in the US and you can use my email address in my profile. I think the Social Network will win and the last newest fragrance i tried and love is Lorenzo Villoresi Iperborea.
I live in the U.S. and would love to be entered in this very generous draw. You can use my email address too.
I am testing Pilar & Lucy to twirl all girly now and I have to say I am loving it. This is so not my thing though: thick and sweet and girly. Yet somehow it is working for me anyway.
I live in the US
I think Black Swan will win an Oscar
I think Ke$ha will get a perfume deal; though I can’t imagine her smelling of anything other than whiskey, cigarette smoke, and B.O.
I live in the U.S. My latest is vintage Shalimar. I’ve never been able to smell “modern” Shalimar, so it’s a surprise to discover that I love it.
I live in the U.S., and thank you very much for this contest! I’ve recently been adoring my vintage Rochas Femme that I bought off eBay with Christmas money. I think it’s the most “me” perfume I’ve ever tried, and I absolutely love wearing it to bed. Possibly a waste of good perfume, but I just love how it smells!
i live in the us!
and re: the oscars, i am bummed inception is not up… and i still have to watch the king’s speech… not so much a fan of true grit… so… no predictions, just curious to see how it ends up!
I live in the US and the name of the last fragrance I tried and loved (and purchased…) was SL’s Douce Amere……
I live in the US!!! And the last perfume I tried and loved is Shalimar Ode a la Vanille (which is fortunate since I bought her unsniffed!)…not sure what will win the Oscars- haven’t seen anything except Inception (it was good but I don’t think it will win- my money is on the Colin Firth speech)…
I live in the U.S., and c) for me was Cuir de Lancome… absolutely the best unsniffed bottle purchase in recent memory! Thanks so much for this draw.
i live in the US and i think that True Grit will win for best movie.
I live in the U.S. The last fragrance I tried and loved was a sample of Paco Rabanne Lady Million. OMG. I love it to death.
I live in the US!
My guess would be Inception for the Oscars. I didn’t hear about the King’s Speech, but I’ll need to rent that one! My guess for next celebrity frag would be Jennifer Hudson & the last perfume I tried and loved was Chanel Coco. Love it!
I live in the USA
I think Social Network will win the Oscar for best movie.
I live in the US and the last perfume I tried was saks fifth ave for her
love it can’t get enough and the next celeb.deal will go to Ms. Lawrence
from the housewives of atlanta
Please count me in. I live in the US and you have permission to use the email address in my account. I have no idea what movies are up for Oscars since I am pretty eclectic in movie preference, I am still shocked Angelina Jolie hasn’t put out a fragrance yet (in a really, really skinny bottle and smells like lettuce and cosmetics lol) and the last perfume I tried and loved would have to be Alexander McQueen Kingdom, which I must add to my collection. 🙂
Hi, I live in the US, and think that since Katy Perry has her new scent Purr, Russell Brand should have his own scent as well. I would expect something animalic and wild, yet intellectual with a somber drydown.
I live in the US. I think The King’s Speech will win. I’m now wearing L’Heure Bleue and love it.
I live in the USA and I hope the young girl from True Grit wins for best actress. I am wearing Tonka Imperiale, it is perfect.
I live in the US, and tried portrait of a lady and loved it.
I live in the US, and the last perfume I swooned over was Serge Lutens Rose de Nuit.
I live in the US. Last perfume I tried and loved? L’Artisan Tea for Two
I live in the USA and I haven’t been testing anything new lately, just going back around to previous samples–trying to thin the collection!! Tried Lyric Woman again today and it is lovely….so why am I not in love with it?
Hoping for THE KING’ S SPEECH (Colin Firth you are mine), but will reserve judgement until my nephew and I do “Oscar Saturdays” at the local AMC–all ten nominated films over two very long Saturdays in February!
I live in the U.S. and I think Black Swan will take the Oscar.
I recently surprised myself by falling in love with Montale’s Vanilla Extasy.
I live in the US and agree with the poster above me, Black Swan all the way!
I live in the US and the last fragrance I tried and loved was No. 8 by UNTITLED. You also have permission to use my email address in my reader account to contact me.
Live in the US!
A) Winter’s Bone or Black Swan, either way I don’t care, I love them both. And Natalie Portman did ink herself a Miss Dior Cherie contract…
I live in the US, and you have my happy&grateful permission to use my email to contact me.
Holy Moly, what a contest!!
I haven’t seen any of the movies that were nominated, but I think that in the trailers, I was most impressed with the acting of Michelle Williams. But I think that The Fighter is going to be the big winner.
Sadly, my money is on Kei$ha or someone from Jersey Shore getting the next perfume endorsement. Can you imagine what Keish’a perfume would smell like??
The last perfume that I tried and loved was Bas de Soie— but then I decided that I didn’t like the milky middle-to-top area. It’s so hard to find an HG!
I live in the US
Black swan but probably the King;s speech.
I just fell in love with XerJoff Damarose-ooh-perfect for cold weather
I live in the USA and I think The Kings Speech will win an Oscar
I would LOVE to win!!!
I live in the US.
I think The Kings Speech will probably win, but will be pulling for True Grit…which makes me think of the next celeb perfume deal with Jeff Bridges. I mean, the possibilities are endless: eau de Grit and eau de Dude just for starters!
I live in the US and I recently tried and loved (and bought a FB of) Teo Cabanel Oha.
1. I live in the US.
2. My most recent perfume love is L’Artisan Tea for Two. I could just about drink it!
(3. Loving this blog since I found it in December!)
(Yeah, I know, flattery probably won’t increase my chances, but hey, since it’s true. . . ) 😀
i live in the USA and just found my old bottle of Prada pour homme. been wearing it almost everyday, and office friendly.
I live in the USA and just tried Serge Lutens Chene for the first time… I think it’s the perfect winter little black dress scent! I can’t get enough of it.
I live in the US.
The last scent I tried and fell in love would have to be MUSK by ALYSSA ASHLEY(oil). It is cheap and smells amazing!!!!!
I live in the US. I think Black Swan is definitely up for an Oscar in 2011 – or at least I hope so!
I live in the US and if I am the winner- feel free to use my email address. I recently bought a bottle of Lollia “Wish” and love the sweet vanilla essence. I would like to see Sharon Stone debut a fragrance. I love her as an actress. She is always so confident.
I live in the US, you can use my email address, I check them all.
The last fragrance I tried and loved was Neil Morris’s Midnight Tryst. What a soft purry spicy heaven!
Hi, I’m a newbie. I do live in the US. I’ve been quietly reading & enjoying your blogs for about two years. I’m afraid I’ve gotten to the ‘have’ to make sure that I’ve read every day…..I think I might be hooked : )…
I I’ve worn Pure Linen and loved the comforting warn smell it has at the end, or that I find on my sweater latter.
I really liked Sensuous by Lauder. It surprised me. I didn’t expect to but I liked that sharp-bitter note it has . ( What is that BTW?) It keeps it interesting and not over sweet. At the end it reminded me of Christmas baking & a little of the fruit cake my mom made & soaked in brandy at Christmas.
LOVE the Pacifica Star Jasmine and Blood Orange! It smells so much better than I expected it to for the price!
Who would be fun to have front a perfume? Hmmm…..I really enjoy cello music- so maybe Yo Yo Ma. Something warm, complicated, well done, oriental, and classical?
Thanks for all the great info!
i live in the us (well my mom does,,,hope it counts)
Tried and loved vetiver our elle.
Would like to see the swedish actress from Stieg Larssons, “The girl who kicked the hornets nest”, become the next celebrity with a fragrance
Donno who will win the oscars…we always get movies in HK after the fact!
I live in the U.S. and you have my permission to use the e-mail address registered on this site.
I have not seen any of the nominated films (bad girl!) but I think The Social Network will probably get it.
I recently (FINALLY) tried Ineke After My Own Heart and fell in love – I adore lilac!
What a great prize draw, thanks you guys!
I live under a rock..a nicely scented one but a rock none the less. The Social Network is the only one I’ve seen…so best go with c) as I am testing both Amouge Ubar and Vintage Shocking..both are hitting the spot right now..must be a civet/skank love thang. I live in the US and you may use my email account;) would love to try the new Le Labos.
I hope Inception wins for Best Picture I love me some Leonardo DiCaprio . I live in the US and you have my permission to use my email account. Thanks and have a great week:)
I live in the U.S. and, even though the thought makes me kind of queasy, I could easily see someone from the Jersey Shore fronting a fragrance. Probably one of the guys — The Situation? — and probably an Axe-alike, coming to a Walgreens near you.
I live in the USA.
I went to see True Grit last week and I think it has a great chance to win the Best Picture Oscar.
(I tried some vintage Miss Dior this week and it was heavenly…)
Thanks for the drawing!

I was going to say it was inevitable that Taylor Swift was going to launch a fragrance, but google tells me she already signed the papers with Estee. Then I was going to say Snooki and it looks like she has already inked a deal too. So now I am going to say Nicki Minaj and I am not going to google because I am spending too much time trying to find a celeb that DOESN’T have a fragrance.
I live in the U.S. I think the King’s Speech will win. I’ve tried several fragrances recently that I love: SL Daim Blond, DSH Mata Hari, Dior New Look 1947 and JP Chaldee. Actually, I first tried Daim Blond some time ago but recently made up my mind about it and grabbed a FB on evilbay.
Thanks for organizing this treat, Robin!
I live in the US 🙂 I’d love to see Natalie Portman win for Black Swan. I’ve heard great things about The King’s Speech and have been a Colin Firth fan, so he also has my vote.
As for last perfume I tried and loved – tie between Traversee du Bosphore (SOTD) and Kss Me Tender (SOFE). I thought both were lovely and I would happily own both of them.
I live in the U.S.
I think Inception will win the oscar.
I tried Rose splendid of Annick Goutal recently and I loved it. But the people around me think of a grandma when i wear it…
Thank you~
I live in the U.S. The Tourist will win!!! Ricky Gervais FTW!
I live in the US, and I’m rooting for Winter’s Bone, both because I know one of the musicians who worked on the soundtrack, and because the movie is amazing. The most recent perfume I fell in love with was Eau d’Epices.
I live in the US.
The Social Network will win Best Picture, which should go to Inception (though The Social Network should win best screenplay), Taylor Swift is going to get a perfume deal (just googled it, appears the deal already went through!) and the last thing I tried and loved was L’Artisan Passage d’Enfer.
I live in the U.S., and I’m rooting for a sweep by True Grit. Matt Damon-my fantasy lover, all cowboy’ed up. sigh.
And while I suspect the next celebrity endorsed scent will be by someone who I most certainly won’t like, in a gesture of reconciliation across the Oscar aisle, I could hope that Mr. Darcy (oops I meant Colin), will endorse a perfectly wonderful fragrance.
Haven’t tried anything new recently that rocked my world, so right now loving on my Petitgrain Sur Fleur.
I live in the U.S.
Last thing I tried, loved, and bought is Sushi Imperiale by Bois 1920. So infatuated–wearing it every day. 🙂
Hey Robin
I live in the US….and I think Black Swan is going to get an oscar. It might seem like that movie is “hyped up” but I really enjoyed it. I loved how Natalie Portman interpreted the role of that dancer in such a raw way. Fantastic!
I live in the US.
The Social Network will probably win, though I prefer Black Swan. Last perfume I tried and loved was of all things…Victoria’s Secret Vanilla Lace.
I’m in the US, and I just tried Laura Mercier’s Minuit Enchante yesterday. It was utterly glorious, and I loved the long burning dry-down. But it’s still going, 12 hours later, and I’m beginning to feel like it’s wearing me.
Thanks so much for the opportunity, Robin!
I live in the U.S. I hope True Grit will win — I absolutely loved that movie.
Thank you!
I live in the US and a smell a Social Network win!
I live in the U.S.
With 10 Oscar nominations, there is room for art, but money walks away with the Oscar. I think Social Network will win, although I’d prefer The Kings Speech.
I tried Frederick Malle’s Noir Epices and fell for it so hard I bought a whole bottle on the spot. It’s lovely.
I live in the US and I think The Social Network is going to get the Oscar. Thanks!
I live in the US. I’d like to see Black Swan win best picture and actress.
I live in the U.S., and I think that The King’s Speech will win at the Oscars.
I live in the US.
I hope that The King’s Speech will win.
Thanks.
I live in the US, and you have permission to use my email address. I think “The King’s Speech” will get best picture, and I’m very much afraid that “Jersey Shore”‘s Snooki will get a perfume deal this year.
I live in the US and I think “The King’s Speech” will be the big winner. I’ve surprised myself by really enjoying Tom Ford’s White Patchouli.
I live in the US and don’t particularly care, but think True Grit will win
I live in the US. Last frag I tried and loved? Probably A*Men Pure Malt, my SOTD.
I live in the US. I tried Marc Jacob’s perfume last and loved it!
I live in the US. I think the last perfume I tried and loved was L’Air du Desert Marocain 🙂 It took me too long to finally get to try it, but I’m glad I did!!
I live in the US. I think The King’s Speech will win best picture, but am hoping Inception will win in some categories!
I live in the US!
Last fragrance I tried and loved was Lanvin Arpege!
I’ll bite on the celebrity perfumes too… how about Ke$ha? She hasn’t announced one yet, has she?
I live in the USA
a.) The King’s Speech
b.) Nicki Minaj
c.) Marc Jacob Eau So Fresh
I live in the U.S.
I TOTALLY think the King’s Speech will win, but my heart wants Toy Story 3 to win because I’m a kid at heart 🙂
As for which celeb will get a fragrance deal, I’m really, really pulling for Adam Lambert to launch a unisex fragrance or even a straight up women’s fragrance. I think that would be amazing.
Right now I’m actually really loving Jessica Simpson’s Fancy Love perfume. I know it’s not the most exclusive or niche thing ever, but I just love it 🙂
Thank you for the contest!
I live in the US. I just snapped up a bottle of L’Occitaine Verbena at a thrift store for $5 and it was love at first sniff.
I live in the U.S.
Tom Ford’s Tobacco Vanille- tried, liked, want.
