New fragrances from Korres

Posted by Robin on 15 January 2011 16 Comments

Korres has launched six new fragrances:

White Tea / Bergamot / Freesia (shown) ~ A fresh floral with notes of bergamot, mandarin, neroli, cyclamen, freesia, jasmine, white tea, violet, white musk, cedarwood and moss.

Peony / Vanilla / Amber / Pear ~ An "intensely feminine" fragrance featuring notes of pear, apple, bergamot, peony, jasmine, rose, patchouli, sage, peach, amber, musk, sandalwood and vanilla.

The other four are Vanilla / Freesia / Lychee, Vetiver Root / Green Tea / Cedarwood, Iris / Lily of the Valley / Cotton, Heliotrope / Ylang Ylang / Citron. I will update with more detailed notes for those if I can find them.

All are available in 50 ml Eau de Toilette. (via korresscandinavia, dergepflegtemann.de)

Update: here is information on 2 more...

Vanilla / Freesia / Lychee ~ a floriental with bergamot, tea, jasmine, peach, lychee, freesia, sandalwood, vanilla, patchouli and musk.

Vetiver Root / Green Tea / Cedarwood ~ a woody aromatic with bergamot, cardamom, green tea, lavender, cedar, vetiver, tonka bean, amber and oak moss. (via cosmoty.de)

I would love to try these, but they will not ship fragrances to California.

I admit I don’t really know what Korres is up to in the US right now…they did open a store in NY, didn’t they? Very surprised they won’t ship to CA, why is that?

the Vetiver/GreenTea/Cedar, I must try. I guess it’s not available on the US website yet, I couldn’t find it. I did find their agarwood/saffron scent, which looks very nice. I wonder if that’s being discontinued too.

It looks like different countries got different scents — the only place that seems to have all of them is Greece.

I wish these were available in Sephora in the US. I love Korres Body Products.

My Sephora (San Francisco) carries Korres, but I’ve never seen fragrances.

I could not find these on their website…I would so much love to find a nice freesia scent!
Carrie, that agarwood/saffron scent sounds excellent too

Robin’s right, you can find them all in Greece. The iris/lilly of the valley/cotton and vetiver root/green tea/cedarwood are the stand outs. Lovely smells! And of course the fisrt one they got, saffron/cardamon/agarwood is really really nice, it could be the younger brother of M7.

    Korres body products are great.

I know Fred Segal in Los Angeles carries the entire line, generally, and gets their frangraces as well I believe. If you’re in the LA area you should call Fred Segal and see what they’ve got! They have a location in Santa Monica and one in West Hollywood.

Just wanted to weigh in here and say I don’t believeFred Segal carries these newest fragrances, (at least not yet), but you can order from this site in Germany: http://www.ausliebezumduft.de/

FYI, the site is in English, and they take paypal, so it’s easy to do, (if a bit pricey, due to the euro and shipping costs). I generally make it a rule not to buy fragrances scent-unsmelled, as it were, but had to make an exception in this case, as I love both Korres and freesia. Fingers crossed.
