Yosh Sombre Negra ~ new perfume

Posted by Robin on 16 December 2010 14 Comments

Yosh Sombre Negra

Indie line Yosh has launched Sombre Negra, a new limited edition fragrance:

...The fragrance is at once omnipresent but ghostly, casting doubt and arousing intrigue. The emotional intensity of patchouli, vetiver and choya loban unearth deep mushroom notes, revealing sweet but unsentimental undertones of opoponax and tobacco. The diffused smokiness of pink and black pepper mingles with dry teak and cypress leaving an ephemeral illusion.

Additional notes include davana and oakmoss.

Yosh Sombre Negra can be found now at Luckyscent, $90 for 50 ml Eau de Parfum. (via luckyscent)

I am automatically drawn to a fragrance that is the dark color of vintage juice, The notes don’t sound bad either!

Interesting — that color automatically makes me think “sweet amber”, so it doesn’t really attract me in the absence of other information. Better a rich brown than pink, though!

Paired w/the notes, it just makes me think of tobacco.

Adding this to the ‘must sniff’ list- the notes do sound really interesting and the colour is fabulous! Must admit, the ‘ghostly’ description snagged my interest as I love Costume National Homme and it’s long-locked-spice- chest ghostliness.

It sounds very sexy to me- but maybe I’m just dirty minded? Is it more for a man or woman do ya think?

Mushroom looks to be a condender to be the new “aoud” – there have been quite a lot of new releases featuring that note lately.

I’m telling you, the mushroom note reminds me of the earthy smell of having sex. Yep-guilty of sex on the brain I guess. Does anyone else find that note sexy? Or am I perverse??? I probably shouldn’t ask questions I don’t want answered. 😉
