Bunch o’ limited edition collector bottles 2010, part 20

Posted by Robin on 12 December 2010 16 Comments

A very small bunch this time — these are the last stragglers for 2010. The usual disclaimers apply: in most of these cases, the juice is unchanged, just the bottle is “special” (or not, as the case may be), and some of these may not be available in the US.

First, from Comme des Garçons, the "Merry Happy Crazy Colour" bottle: the house's standard bottle wrapped in bright paper maché and inspired by the work of assume vivid astro focus. Reportedly coming soon, in Comme des Garçons 2 and Wonderwood. (via number3store.blogspot)

From Cartier, Delices de Cartier done up in "the winter spirit". In 50 ml Eau de Parfum. (via bellemania.de)

From Givenchy, the upcoming Very Irrésistible Givenchy L’Intense in a limited edition 5 ml roll-on inside a silver necklace charm. Around 56€, coming in March. (abc-luxe)

Yep, total agreement with Kaos….that Cartier bottle is very pretty. I’ve never tried Delices but even their regular bottle is nice.

It’s not my favorite, but as fruity florals go it isn’t bad.

I LOVED Delices at a certain point (being a fruity-floral fan, esp if the fruit/flower ratio is high). Accidentally though, not having a clue what a flanker was, and being served by an assistant who didn’t know either, I bought Delices fruitee which has none of the richness of Delices ) : Still, I can’t quite bring myself to give it away.

cartier bottle is sure a pretty, delicate one-will look great on full-scape glass-top dressing table-hope that smell is equally great:). Not so sure about Givency though 🙁

the present crytal-frosted version is a more sophisticated style of earlier 3 bottle colours of Delices, red body with white-cap; moavue+red body with red cap and red body with blood-red cap. 😀

Of the 3, the only one I want is the CdG.

I’ve never been a bottle person, and it certainly isn’t my style, but I *really* want that CdG bottle! AND…. I’ve never even smelled the two scents that come in it!

I’ve never smelled Wonderwood, but CdG 2 is an inky, smoky, incensey classic. Yummy! And for some reason the special edition bottles sometimes show up for reasonable prices online. (Maybe because they are small?)

I would take the crazy crayola CdG and get the crazy juice too!

Since I’m a CdG fan, I find that bottle really appeals to me. It’s kind of got a 60’s-70’s flair to it.

Add me to the club enjoying the whimsy of that CdG bottle. The Cartier is pretty elegant!

LOVE LOVE LOVE that CdG bottle. Especially since I’ve totally fallen in love with Wonderwood. Yeah I know, wasn’t the biggest fan in the beginning.

before i read it, i thought the Givenchy thing was Play for Her, but shaped as like an actual mp3 player you can wear around the neck.

hell, that idea would be genius,
