Makes a nice looking ad though.

Yes, it seems that the people on the creative department at Azzaro are FINALLY taking our minds from thinking “personal massage devices” whenever we look at the bottles! ehehehhehe

I really think this ad is a true improvement… now about those fragrances.. so far all of these reminded me of Armani Remix: Hairspray… WIMPY hairspray at best.

LOL! Of course I never get to try them, so for me the scents themselves are besides the point 😉

Yes, I was wondering how far down comments I’d have to read before someone mentioned that they looked like “personal massagers” — not too far as it turns out!

Looks like they’re planning to bite each other. And the other picture – is it just me or does it look a little…sperm-ish…to anyone else? Can’t say the scents inspire me either, but that may just be my mood today. Uninspired.

I wasn’t thinking “sperm-ish”, but I was definitely thinking those bottles look like something you might find at an “adult toystore”!

Geez, Louise, I feel filthy for just looking at the ads!

I thought they looked like both of those things before I saw the other picture with the mouths :L .

Everyone said the same of Azzaro Twin…these are similar to those, just thinner.

first thing I thought was they looked like microbes…bad ones….the kind that keep House and his whole teamed stumped for at least 50minutes…several brushes with death and/or lupus, and give or take a few minutes for State Farm commercials… Then I read the comments and they are no longer nasty microbes but vibrators….
sheesh, Robin, what kind of a blog are you running here?

I think they look like bananas. They certainly aren’t practical perfume bottles are they now?

I’m kinda thinking that they look like things that vibrate.. but that is just me.

This is Azzuro’s third, at least, set of matched fragrances in similar bottles. Azzuro Now Man/Woman came before Twin. I have smelled the Now set, has anyone smelled Twin?

I forgot to say what the Now fragrances smelled like! I bought them dirt cheap unsniffed after the recommendation in the Turin-Sanchez guide. Now Woman is a fresh floral more dry than sweet, very pleasant with a woody/herbal drydown. It is a bit similar in feel to Par Amour as both have a touch of the glade-like freshness, but not overwhelming, though Par Amour is much sweeter. Nothing amazing, but a good “wallpaper scent”. The Now Man is a fresh woody, herbal that smells a lot like Apres la Mousson in several stages, but with neither the best parts (the spicy bit) or the worst parts (melon-zilla). Worn side by side they do not smell as similar as I think, but in isolation they have the same feel to me.

Looks like this bottle was inspired by LELO luxury vibrators : http://en.lelo.com/index.php?collectionName=luxe&groupName=YVA

Is “fruity oriental chypre” the new fruity floral? 🙂

    I like multi-functional objects.

Besides, when the dog drags it out, while the priest is over for tea, one need merely laugh – oh, there’s Fido at the fine fragrances again!
