Bunch o’ limited edition collector bottles 2010, part 18

Posted by Robin on 9 November 2010 18 Comments

More limited edition collector fragrance bottles, with the usual disclaimers: in most of these cases, the juice is unchanged, just the bottle is “special” (or not, as the case may be), and some of these may not be available in the US.

From Hermès, a limited edition bottle of Terre d'Hermès for the holiday 2010 season, the Terre d'Hermès 133 G edition. The metal forms an H-shaped clip on the back of the bottle so you can clip it inside your bag, or wherever. In 30 ml with 125 ml refill and funnel. (via veraclasse.it)

From Bond no. 9, Nuits de Noho in the Chandelier edition, with "see-through prism necklace and matching jaunty cap". $380 at Saks Fifth Avenue.

Lalique Fleur de Cristal parfum

From Lalique, the limited edition, signed and numbered Extrait de Parfum bottle for the new Fleur de Cristal fragrance. (via parfums-tendance.fr)

From Avon's Mark brand, a solid perfume ring in the Sophistique fragrance. With adjustable band, $16. (via meetmark)

From Versace, Bright Crystal in a limited edition collector bottle in shades of blue and pink, in 90 ml Eau de Toilette. (via style.uk.msn)

do these seem particularly uninspired to anyone else? Maybe I’m just in a bad mood, but I’m so tired of Bond slapping some crystal flatbacks here and there and VOILA! “collector” ….this new cluster of stuff around the neck and on the cap? sorry, but I think that’s just silly. I guess Bond fans will like it…..maybe.

In general I agree, but the Lalique bottle is stunning. On the other hand, it had better be since that is their business after all.

I’m not drooling over any of them this time. The Lalique is pretty, the Hermes is cute.

Daisy, I’m cracking up right now. Who the hell needs perfume with a damn “jaunty cap” of rhinestones? Oh yeah, I want to clip my Hermes bottle inside my bag or whereever? What the…? And that Versace is the most hideous thing I’ve ever seen — like something you’d try to win in a quarter gumball-prize machine. I shouldn’t have scrolled through these after having a little wine…

The Lalique is kind of elegant. There, I said something nice. 😀

I’m loving the Lalique, but I’m a sucker for those long glass wands.

Yawn. Agreed that none of these sound particularly interesting save the Lalique, for which I don’t even want to know the cost.

hmm, so is the Hermes 30ml refillable ?
and that Bond No9 bottle is GORGEOUS 😀 I would absolutley love it
that is like a near perfect bottle.

and the lalique looks a little bit like part of an iceberg under water. that would be nice to have too.

I’ve just read the notes of Nuits de Noho on Saks= jasmine, creamy vanilla and sheer patchouli. I WANT IT

£244.63 on Saks UK and the volume is 100ml

Since it comes with a refill, I’m thinking it’s refillable 🙂

It would be awfully nice if more bottles were refillable. The rare times I drain a bottle it would be nice to not have to throw the whole works out.

I like the Lalique bottle, but then I like to collect pretty crystal things.
The dangling crystals on the Bond No 9 looks like a great cat toy to me….. an expensive one but a kitty toy non-theless.

I can’t get a very good idea of it from the pic, but lalique=beautiful.
    Thats just a basic axiom!
