John Varvatos will celebrate 10 years of business with John Varvatos 10th Anniversary Special Edition, a new limited edition fragrance for men and the designer's first scent with Elizabeth Arden (the license was previously held by Shiseido).
The oriental amber fragrance was developed by perfumer Rodrigo Flores-Roux; the notes include chinotto orange, bergamot, cinnamon, patchouli, vetiver, black leather, amber, cistus resin, fluid balsams and Tamboti wood.
John Varvatos 10th Anniversary Special Edition will be available in 125 ml Eau de Toilette, $88. (via sfilate.it, wwd)
Looking forward to this, now where to get my hands on a sample 😉
I really like the JV line — on the men’s side, anyway.
I cant WAIT to smell this. I love John Varvatos’ fragrances. Theyre all so great and I love the uniqueness of them.
This sounds absolutely divine! cannot wait to get a whiff of it. Varvatos’ fragrances have insofar been all quite wonderful (his women’s fragrance is a MASTERPIECE!) so i am eager to get my hands on this!
That’s a very sleek flacon!
Oh I hope this makes it somewhere soon! I am dying to try it! : )
Just checked JVs site and it’s available there. So lets hope it shows up in stores soon. It’s just such a big bottle! I would never use it all up in a life time! LOL! : )
Just this this today.. Goodness, is it gorgeous! Quite a distinguished perfume for a mainstream line. And it has tremendous longevity! I want..
I’ve sampled this and it’s a right royal dud. ESPECIALLY if you already think the JV line is awesome. (I do.)
I was looking forward to forthright cinnamon flavors, leather notes, etc. – this to my nose smells like dishrag water that someone left a spent stick of stale cinnamon inside overnight.
AVOID THIS – pretend like the only things out by JV are Artisan, the signature fragrance, and Vintage – and you’ll be just fine.
Truly – this was an epic disappointment.
