Posted by Robin on 14 June 2010 11 Comments

Gap Core cologne for men

Gap has launched Core, a new fragrance for men:

Introducing our new scent for men. Core is simple, fresh, clean, and sexy--feels as natural to wear as your favorite jeans.

The notes include organic basil, black pepper, mandarin, freesia, lavender, nutmeg, soft suede, warm amber, sandalwood, and tropical moss.

Gap Core is $29.50 for 100 ml, concentration unknown. (via gap)

Oh, monday mornings should be banned for posting… I am in the mood for a snarky post myself…

With that list of notes, instead of Core should be called Bore. X-)

Anyway, as my luck goes I’ll probably end up loving this… wait and see!

LOL…Gap usually does a pretty good job, so I’ll certainly try to get in there to smell this (still have not smelled Stay either). And will laugh if you buy it!

Could be a bore….but it’s practically FREE! :) I’ll sniff this the next time I’m at El Mall.

IT SMELLS DELISH! I was just in the Gap a few days ago and they had it to sample, had not got it in, YET. but would be getting it in this week, so am going to pick up a bottle. the Lavender, Freesia and Mandarin are very well blended together and the Pepper Note adds just enough Bite without being aggressive. LOVE IT!

Yes, I’d say that starting with last year’s Close, they’re trying to take a different tack on the fragrance front.

It sounds really nice to me that I bought it right away today just from the description. I usually like Gap’s scents, they’re pretty good and I love anything with suede in it. Can’t wait to receive it!; pretty excited about it.
